CES has an established record of providing quality construction engineering and inspection (CEI) and project controls services since its organization in 2001 and brings a strong portfolio of multifaceted engineering and infrastructure project experience to the City, developed on CEI projects throughout Florida and New York. Our experience includes providing CEI services to numerous municipal and public agencies in Florida. Our applied experience will exceed the City’s expectations while ensuring that your projects are constructed with conformity to plans, specifications, and special provisions in the Contract. Our main objective is to work with City staff to ensure quality support and delivery throughout the wide gamut of activities associated with the CEI services that your projects will need, all while focusing on providing quality delivery in a timely and cost-effective manner. The CES Team’s resources include a contract pool of more than 50 CEI professionals, allowing us to handle multiple concurrent task orders. Our team understands that we are the City’s representative in the field and should act as an extension of your staff, always acting in the City’s best interests. The CES Team’s diverse experience in CEI, along with our long history of successfully working with various Florida municipalities and agencies, brings extensive knowledge of the key factors critical to the successful management and execution of your projects. CES has provided turn-key engineering inspection and construction management services for numerous project types, managing all aspects of construction while coordinating activities with clients. CES field experts have provided CEI on all phases of construction, from field observations and documentation to logging, reviewing and distributing shop drawings, reviewing Requests for Information (RFI)/Requests for Proposed Changes (RPC)/Change Order documentation, preparing written responses to Contractor and Client-initiated RFIs, preparing written RPCs, and reviewing supporting documents and quotations provided by the Contractor. CES has also been responsible for determining the status of substantial completion, providing written certificates of substantial completion for portions of the project that are determined to be substantially complete, punch list processing, and final completion inspections and certifications. In 2018, CES formed its own construction company, giving us an added advantage of having real-world construction knowledge and field experience and helping to inform our in-house constructability and cost reviews.
