across South Florida. He brings technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools,
with a strong foundation in engineering design standards and construction documentation. Jordi
demonstrates a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. His contributions reflect a
clear understanding of regulatory compliance in complex water and wastewater systems.
MDWASD Engineering, Design and Related Services for the Local Pump Station Improvement
Program, Miami-Dade County, FL: Staff Engineer. This contract includes the inspection/evaluation,
analysis and design of multiple sanitary sewer lift stations ranging from 20 HP to 60 HP and associated
force mains. The challenges found in designing these upgrades relate to two items. First, meeting
the FEMA Base Flood Elevation for some of these small locations while maintaining operations and
maintenance protocols is a challenge. Under this contract, we have converted several wet well/
dry well systems into submersible stations. These conversions are requiring significant structural
design in order to reuse the existing facilities. This effort is more cost effective than installing a new
wet well. Additionally, our team looks carefully at constructability in developing creative solutions
that meet all of the client’s needs while maximizing construction dollars. The pump stations he has
worked on include PS0132, PS0659, PS0815, PS0865, PS0063, and PS0704.
MDWASD Pump Station Improvement Program (PSIP), Miami-Dade County, FL: Staff Engineer. This
contract includes providing evaluation, cost, engineering analysis, design, coordination, permitting,
and management for the rehabilitation and replacement of multiple pump stations for the PSIP.
The pump stations he has worked on include PS0491, PS0493, PS1043, PS1044, PS0694, PS0329,
PS0313, and PS0744.
NW 12th Avenue Force Main Replacement, North Miami, FL: Staff Engineer. This project includes
the design, permitting, and construction of 10,500 LF of 10- and 12-inch replacement force main
in NW 12th Avenue extending from NW 95th Street to NW 125th Street for the Miami-Dade County
Department of Public Works and Waste Management. The project replaced aging, asbestos-cement
and cast iron force mains with corrosion resistant PVC pipe.
Miami Beach Integrated Water Master Plan CSC Task Order: First Street Neighborhood Improvement
Project, Miami Beach, FL: Staff Engineer. This project includes integrated engineering design services
for a new stormwater pump station and stormwater treatment facility to serve the South of Fifth/
South Pointe Neighborhood, including improvements to storm drainage, potable water, wastewater,
road raising, and streetscaping.
City of Homestead, Water & Sewer Infrastructure Master Planning (Contract 201307), Homestead,
FL: Staff Engineer. This contract includes providing comprehensive master planning services for the
City of Homestead’s water and wastewater infrastructure. This project evaluates system capacity,
identifies the impacts of future developments, and streamlines connection requests. Scope includes
data collection and system analysis, vulnerability assessments to identify risks to critical infrastructure,
and capital improvement planning (CIP) to prioritize system upgrades. The effort analyzes existing and
future water distribution and wastewater collection systems, assesses lift and pump stations, evaluates
interconnections, and develops system performance criteria. Deliverables include a prioritized CIP
with phased recommendations, cost estimates, and a comprehensive Water and Wastewater Master
Plan Report that incorporates findings, models, and long-term strategic planning.
