Responsible for signing and pavement marking plans for this safety <br />improvement roadway project. Responsibilities included managing, coordinating, and leading all <br />efforts in design production for an urbanized roadway facility that incorporated widening and <br />pedestrian sidewalk improvements for crossing at signalized intersections. (FPID #432743-5-52-01) <br />SR 9/NW 27th Avenue Safety Funded Improvements from SW 10th Street to NW 1st Street, Miami, <br />FL: Project Engineer. Responsible for this four-lane undivided highway Resurfacing, Restoration, and <br />Rehabilitation (RRR) urbanized project involving curb and gutter, sidewalks, and a T-intersection. <br />The project focuses on improving traffic operations and safety along SR 9/NW-SW 27th Avenue <br />between SW 10th Street (MP 1.632) and NW 1st Street (MP 2.345), an urban principal arterial with an <br />Access Classification of 5. Scope of work includes revising double left-turn lanes at the intersection <br />of SR 90/SW 8th Street, extending existing left-turn lanes at multiple locations, and modifying <br />median openings to improve channelization and reduce conflict points. Additional improvements <br />consist of minor roadway widening along the east side of SR 9/SW 27th Avenue between SW 10th <br />Street and SR 90/SW 8th Street; conversion of the existing bus bay/parking lane; conversion of <br />the exclusive right-turn lane on the west side of SR 9/SW 27th Avenue between SR 90/SW 8th <br />Street and SW 7th Street to a through lane; milling and resurfacing; and curb ramp and sidewalk <br />upgrades. Responsible for the production of roadway design plans, signing and pavement markings, <br />and maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans, as well as coordination of signalization modifications to <br />enhance intersection performance and safety. (FPID #433283-1-52-01) <br />SR 5/Biscayne Boulevard Pedestrian Crosswalks (Seven Crossings), Key Largo, FL: Project Engineer. <br />In charge of mobility improvements in SR 5/US 1/Biscayne Boulevard. Improvements included <br />midblock crossing, signalization, median modifications, decorative pavement and calming devices <br />to move safely pedestrians and bicyclists. <br />SR 5/Overseas Highway RRR Project from MM 48 to SW 33rd Street, Monroe County, FL: Project <br />Engineer. Responsible for this RRR urbanized project that consisted of a four-lane undivided highway <br />with curb and gutter and sidewalk and T-intersection. Responsible for production of roadway, <br />pavement marking, and traffic control plans. (FPID #429187-1-52-01)
