His expertise <br />includes ground and surface water supply development and treatability; reverse <br />osmosis facility design; water, wastewater, and reuse master planning; and <br />implementation site work such as capital improvement plan updates and plant site <br />acquisition. Representative project experience includes: <br />Miami-Dade County, FL, Steady-State Wastewater Force Main Hydraulic <br />Model. Project engineer for completing a comprehensive steady-state hydraulic <br />model of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department’s force main system, <br />including over 1,500 miles of force main and 900 pump stations. <br />Miami-Dade County, FL, Reuse Feasibility Study. Project engineer for completing <br />a comprehensive study of reuse alternatives for the county using computerized <br />demand projection and hydraulic and cost analysis models. <br />City of Ocoee, FL, Western Force Main Hydraulic Engineering Support. Project <br />manager for providing hydraulic planning and permitting services to support the <br />design of the western force main specifically related to re-routing existing lift <br />stations. Five lift stations were evaluated, and the results were displayed on a map <br />indicating the proposed configurations for the five pump stations and how they <br />should be connected to the western force main. <br />Toho Water Authority, FL, Sunset Oaks Hydraulic Analysis. Client manager <br />for performing the hydraulic analysis for a new residential building development’s <br />10-inch water main. CHA used Toho Water Authority’s hydraulic model to <br />determine if enough pressure was available for the proposed project and necessary <br />improvements to achieve proper pressure and fire flow. <br />City of Lake Wales, FL, Potable Water Master Plan. Technical leader for <br />developing a water master plan to identify and plan corrective actions for <br />deficiencies in the potable water system and plan for the orderly expansion of the <br />system to accommodate future growth predictions provided by the city’s planning <br />department. The potable water master plan focused on capital improvements and <br />prioritization of repair and rehabilitation efforts required to serve the utility service <br />area’s existing 5, 10, and 20-year future needs. <br />City of Altamonte Springs, FL, Potable and Reclaimed Water Systems Master <br />Plan and Hydraulic Model Update. Client and project manager for evaluating the <br />City of Altamonte Springs’ potable water and reclaimed water systems, including <br />hydraulic modeling.
