<br />Yusem brings over 17 years of expertise as a project controls manager. Her
<br />responsibilities encompass a wide range of critical tasks, including but not limited
<br />to project documentation, design reviews, shop drawings, change orders, final
<br />estimates, invoicing, account receivables, personnel timesheets, and payrolls.
<br />Yusem also handles construction permits, manages document entry in the project
<br />controls systems ProjectSolve and Proliance (PCTS), prepares and coordinates
<br />all project meetings, maintains and reviews construction schedules, and reviews
<br />contract specifications for compliance. Representative project experience includes:
<br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, Alexander Orr Jr. Water
<br />Treatment Plant, Miami, FL. Project administrator for this project consists
<br />which of the construction of a new sodium hypochlorite feed and storage system
<br />at AOWTP with a 15-day storage capacity to replace the existing chlorine gas
<br />disinfection method. The new facility will have eight 27,500-gallon FRP storage
<br />tanks, transfer pumps, feed pumps, and a fill station for the chemical. A new
<br />mechanical room to house the chemical feed pumps and a new electrical room for
<br />the electrical panels, control, and SCADA equipment will also be constructed within
<br />the facility. New chemical feed lines to the injection points will be installed as well
<br />as new process and control equipment for the complete automation of sodium hypo
<br />storage and feed operation.
<br />City of Miami, FL, ADA Compliance On-Street Parking. Project administrator for
<br />this project which consists of correcting and modifying ADA deficiencies on multiple
<br />accessible on street parking locations throughout the City of Miami, including but
<br />not limited to the replacement of sidewalks and pedestrian ramps, curb and gutter
<br />replacement, partial road reconstruction, existing drainage structures adjustments/
<br />minor modifications, milling and resurfacing, pavement marking and signage.
<br />City of Miami, Little Havana Pedestrian Priority Zone Phase 1, Miami, FL.
<br />Served as Project Administrator for the Little Havana Pedestrian Priority Zone Phase
<br />I Project, encompassing NW 6th Street between NW 19th Avenue and NW 22nd
<br />Avenue, Zone 2A (SW 10th Avenue between W Flagler Street and SW 5th Street),
<br />and Zone 2B (SW 2nd Street at SW 9th, 11th, and 13th Avenues). Oversaw the design
<br />and construction of pedestrian safety and greenway enhancements, including new
<br />sidewalks, ADA-compliant ramps, crosswalks, planter islands, landscaping, lighting,
<br />milling and resurfacing, pavement markings, drainage well installations, and related
<br />drainage relocations. Led coordination and facilitation of all project meetings
<br />between the Contractor, FDOT, and the City of Miami. Managed and maintained
<br />comprehensive logs for all submittals, RFIs, and project schedules. Reviewed and
<br />approved Contractor quantities and invoices and coordinated all deliveries with
<br />the City of Miami. Conducted bi-weekly meetings with the City of Miami Police
<br />Department and FDOT to address MOT, onsite incidents, and road closure matters.
<br />Provided the City of Miami with all necessary updated logs, meeting minutes, daily
<br />reports, and monthly reports as required.
