<br />2. New Electrical Building
<br />He prepared a complete set of structural design plans for a new electrical building, which
<br />houses new switches, existing generators, and electrical equipment as part of the NDWWTP
<br />Electrical Updates. The design supported the installation and functionality of the electrical
<br />systems in the plant.
<br />3. Primary & Secondary Clarifiers Upgrade
<br />Mr. Compres conducted visual inspections to assess the current conditions of the primary
<br />and secondary clarifier tanks and determine their suitability for proposed upgrades. He
<br />developed the Basis of Design Report (BODR), including field observations, interior and
<br />exterior comments, and proposals for structural repairs and improvements, with
<br />corresponding design specifications.
<br />4. Deep Injection Well Pump Station Upgrade
<br />His scope of work included the structural design of concrete platform anchors for heavy
<br />equipment on the first and second floors of the building, ensuring the station's capacity to
<br />support the upgraded infrastructure.

<br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) Improvements to Pump Stations 301, 414,
<br />415, 416, 417 & 449 (Miami-Dade County, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres supervised the assessment and design upgrades for multiple pump stations following an
<br />inspection of existing conditions in March 2015. His role involved analyzing SCADA data reviewing
<br />hydraulic information provided by MDWASD and conducting on-site inspections. Through his analysis,
<br />Mr. Compres identified issues such as undersized pumps, wet wells, discharge piping, and valve
<br />vaults, which led to the development of comprehensive recommendations for system improvements.
<br />Structural and Civil Plans Review Committee – South Florida Water Management District
<br />(SFWMD) (West Palm Beach, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres was responsible for the structural and civil review of project plans, specifications, and
<br />the Engineering Design Report for multiple projects under the South Florida Water Management
<br />District (SFWMD). Key projects included the Storm Treatment Areas Compartment C Build-out, the
<br />B509B Compartment B Build-out, and the Hurricane Hardening of Structure S352D.

<br />Miramar Roadway Infrastructure Project, Capital Improvement Project, Phase III (Miramar, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres served as the Construction Manager for a major infrastructure project in the southern
<br />half of the City of Miramar. The project included the installation of all water, sewer, and drainage
<br />systems, the expansion of a lift station, and roadway resurfacing. In addition to overseeing construction
<br />activities, he also provided design services for approximately 70,000 linear feet of water mains
<br />throughout the western portion of the city. Mr. Compres supported the city with cost estimating, bid
<br />support, and construction administration services.

<br />2455 Polk St. Buildings – Civil Design & Sewer Connection (Hollywood, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres, as the Engineer of Record, provided a set of civil drawings for the design of
<br />approximately 950 LF of gravity sewer line to connect the property to the City of Hollywood sewer
<br />system for the project. The project included 12 gravity sewer laterals, a water connection detail, paving
<br />and drainage, coordination with the building department to determine the connection point, all required
<br />documentation for the FDOT permitting process, ongoing inspections during construction, and final
<br />certification as required by the city.

<br />700 Cargo Series Buildings (Ongoing), Miami International Airport (Miami, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres, as Engineer of Record, conducted damage assessment inspections, prepared a Basis
<br />of Design Report (BODR), and developed structural repair plans for selling approximately 108,300 LF
<br />of existing roof cracks, replacing 3,200 LF of expansion and transition joints, and providing
<br />waterproofing solutions for leaks and ponding water around parapets and canopies. This work covered
<br />over 800,000 SF, across the 700, 701, 702, 706, 707, and 708 cargo parking garage buildings at Miami

<br />International Airport. The final product was designed in accordance with Miami -Dade Aviation
<br />Department (MDAD) Standards and Guidelines (Design Guidelines Manual – DGM) and all applicable
<br />local codes, regulations, and ordinances.

<br />Sailboat Cay Condo – Structural Forensic Assessment and 40 Year Certification (North Miami,
<br />FL)
<br />Mr. Compres oversaw the preparation of a structural forensic assessment report, which included a
<br />summary of findings and a cost estimate for damage identified in an 18-story building, a four-story
<br />parking garage, and a pool deck, totaling approximately 646 ,585 SF. He managed the evaluation of
<br />concrete beams, columns, post-tensioned slabs, and walls throughout the property, and led the
<br />planning of repairs essential for securing the structural and electrical 40 -Year Certification.
<br />
<br />NW 138th Street Bridge Over Miami River Canal, Miami-Dade Public Works (Miami, FL)
<br />This project involved the master planning, engineering, and design for the widening of NW 138th Street
<br />between Okeechobee Road and NW 113th Avenue. The existing two -lane rural roadway was
<br />upgraded to a five-lane section, incorporating curb and gutter, two new lanes, a center dual-use turning
<br />lane, and a new bridge to replace the existing structure.
<br />Mr. Compres’s responsibilities included:
<br />● Design, specifications, and permitting of signage, pavement markings, and new channelization
<br />patterns for the additional and modified lanes.
<br />● Permitting assistance for Miami-Dade County Public Works Department.
<br />● Coordination with the FDOT to upgrade turn lanes along Okeechobee Road, including signing
<br />and pavement marking modifications per FDOT standards.

<br />SE Drainage Project - Pump Station Design (Dania Beach, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres was responsible for updating the structural design of a pump station to incorporate a
<br />redesigned pump. The structural scope included revising the original drawings and calculations to
<br />ensure compatibility with the new pump and compliance with current building codes. Deliverables
<br />included coordinated structural drawings, supporting calculations, and documentation demonstrating
<br />compliance with applicable codes and standards.
<br />Coral Glades High School - New Auditorium project - Peer Review (Coral Springs, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres is conducting an independent peer review of structural design drawings, calculations,
<br />and specifications for a 28,498-square-foot new auditorium addition. His responsibilities include
<br />evaluating the adequacy, efficiency, and constructability of the structural system; verifying consistency
<br />between design calculations and construction documents; and identifying potential discrepancies that
<br />may impact safety, performance, and constructability.
<br />Cypress Creek Tri-Rail Station (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres oversaw the structural design documents and calculations for the installation of a new
<br />suspended ceiling system beneath the existing and newly constructed stairs at the Cypress Creek Tri -
<br />Rail Station. The scope of work included structural review of shop drawings, code analysis, and
<br />verification of compliance with applicable building codes and local ordinances. Additionally, he
<br />supervised the design of a temporary structural partition to facilitate safe construction area separation .
<br />Bus Shelters Pilot Project (City of Sunrise, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres led surveying and engineering inspection services for the Bus Shelters Pilot Project
<br />across multiple locations within the City of Sunrise. He oversaw the preparation of construction layout
<br />surveys for bus shelter foundations, establishing control points and layout data to support accurate
<br />construction, and directed full-time inspection efforts to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and
<br />design requirements. He coordinated closely with the General Contractor, AOR, EOR, subcontractors,
