<br />Sabal Palm Park Project - RFP No. 25-14R (Tamarac, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres serves as the principal-in-Charge and Structural Design P.E., leading the preparation of
<br />structural design, drawings, and calculations, and overseeing the coordination of the MEP construction
<br />documents. The project includes an 8-foot-wide concrete multi-use path with a covered fitness station,
<br />a ±1,200 SF restroom/storage facility with concession area, a 6,000 SF playground with shade
<br />structures, and a 2,500 SF splash pad. He also directs struc tural design and coordination for picnic
<br />shelters, bleachers, a multi-purpose field, basketball/pickleball court, and dog park, along with site
<br />improvements such as parking, lighting, and utilities. Additionally, he oversees the preparation of as -
<br />built drawings and provides Construction Administration services, including site inspections.

<br />Phase II Port Everglades Drainage Improvements (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres supervised the preparation of drainage improvement plans associated with proposed
<br />improvements and modifications north of Eller Drive, near the existing Port Everglades fuel tank farms.
<br />The scope included project development, preliminary engineering, engineering calculations, and the
<br />preparation of civil engineering drawings. Limited construction support services were also provided
<br />throughout the project.
<br />Hallandale Beach Existing Bridge Foundation Stabilization (Hallandale Beach, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres led improvements to an existing bridge foundation at SW 7th Street in Hallandale Beach,
<br />Florida, which also included the design of a pump station within an existing canal. The scope of work
<br />encompassed the development of structural plans and calculations for a connecting beam between
<br />battered piles and existing bridge foundation piles to improve stability and reduce settlement risk. The
<br />project also included the design of a cofferdam approximately 60 feet by 80 feet and 35 feet high,
<br />constructed with sheet piles embedded about 30 feet below the canal bed and a reinforced concrete
<br />top ring beam. During construction, settlement occurred at a nearby bridge foundation due to
<br />construction equipment traffic. Mr. Compres assessed the condition and designed additional piles to
<br />reinforce the bridge-end supporting beams and restore structural stability.
<br />Central Transfer Station Building No. 1 – 50-Year Recertification (City of Miami, FL)
<br />Mr. Compres serves as the principal-in-charge, overseeing the Structural and Electrical Engineering
<br />Inspection services performed for the recertification, including visual inspections of the building, ramp,
<br />and parking areas in accordance with City guidelines. He directs the preparation of assessment and
<br />recertification reports, including photographic documentation and prioritized repair recommendations.
<br />Additionally, he oversees the development of structural and electrical repair drawings, calculations,
<br />specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, and construction duration estimates addressing the
<br />required corrective measures.
<br />Miami-Dade County Parks – Building Recertification Program (Florida)
<br />Mr. Rivera serves as the principal-in-charge, overseeing structural and electrical recertification
<br />services for multiple park facilities in accordance with the Miami-Dade County Building Recertification
<br />Program and Minimum Inspection Procedural Guidelines. He directs the preparation of assessment
<br />and recertification reports, including documentation of structural and electrical conditions,
<br />photographic records, and recommended repairs. He also oversees additional certifications such as
<br />parking lot illumination, guardrail compliance, and infrared thermography when applicable. Facilities
<br />include Amelia Earhart Park, Camp Matecumbe, Country Club of Miami South, Palmetto Golf Course,
<br />Rockway Park, and Black Point Marina.
