<br />Miami International Airport (MIA) Mover Station (Miami, FL)
<br />Mr. Rivera was responsible for the preparation of a Basis of Design
<br />Report (BODR) that included photographs documenting the existing
<br />conditions, an analysis to assess the structure’s behavior under
<br />additional loads, a review of the current plans, and conclusions with
<br />recommendations for repairing the identified damages. The report also
<br />included a preliminary cost estimate for the proposed concrete
<br />restoration. In addition, Mr. Rivera developed structural repair plans for
<br />the restoration of approximately 480 linear feet of cracks on the existing
<br />platform.

<br />Mr. Rivera oversaw the structural supervision for the retrofit of an 18-
<br />story building, which included the evaluation and restoration of key
<br />structural elements such as the exterior façade, parking garage, pool
<br />structure, and roof. He coordinated the assessment and repair of
<br />columns, beams, and slabs, while addressing flooding issues in the
<br />lower garage and deterioration of expansion joints. He also supervised
<br />compliance evaluations for balconies, windows, and sealants.

<br />Mr. Rivera assisted with the structural investigations and engineering
<br />evaluations of steel-framed entrance structures, glazing systems, and
<br />other deteriorated structural elements. Conducted damage

<br />quantification, and prepared structural repair details and rehabilitation
<br />plans for structural steel and curtain wall assemblies to restore

<br />Welleby ES – Cooling Tower Concrete Support Repair (Sunrise, FL)
<br />Mr. Rivera was responsible for the complete structural design plans of the Cooling Tower, including the
<br />preparation of structural drawings and calculations for the new support columns and steel plates replacing
<br />the existing damaged columns that support the HVAC equipment. His work also included providing
<br />Construction Administration Services, structural inspections during the repair process, to monitor and certify
<br />that all work performed by the General Contractor complied with applicable codes and the approved
<br />construction documents.

<br />New River MS – Cooling Tower Structural Plans (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
<br />Mr. Rivera was in charge of the complete structural design plans for the Cooling Tower, preparing the
<br />structural drawings and calculations that provided the repair details for the damaged concrete columns and
<br />steel plates supporting the cooling tower in Building #03. His work also included delivering Construction
<br />Administration Services, which involved performing structural inspections during the repair process .

<br />Driftwood Park (Davie, FL)
<br />Mr. Rivera oversaw the construction of the basketball court metal building at Driftwood Park. The project
<br />included providing structural and electrical engineering design services for the Town of Davie. The work also
<br />involved designing a new metal shade structure over the basketball court, preparing the bid and construction
<br />documents on behalf of the Town, and managing the construction administration. His assistance was also
<br />provided throughout the permitting process for the new metal structure, which was designed to be
<br />approximately 130 feet long by 70 feet wide (about 9,100 square feet) to provide shade for the basketball
<br />court.

<br />International Studies Preparatory Academy (Coral Gables, FL)
<br />Mr. Rivera was responsible for the complete structural design plans for the school remodeling project. His
<br />work included preparing the wind load calculation report for the safety window wraps at the front and rear
<br />entrances, the proposed covered walkway at the rear entrance, the shading pergolas with metal panels on
<br />the fifth floor, and the appropriate reroofing system with a roof wind-pressure sketch. He also prepared the
<br />structural construction documents and calculations for attaching the pergola metal panels on the fifth -floor
<br />terraces, the proposed covered walkway, and the reroofing system, along with conducting one site visit for
<br />coordination. Additionally, he reviewed shop drawings and submittals as part of Construction Administration
<br />services and performed site visits during the project.

<br />Mr. Rivera was responsible for overseeing and executing the complete structural design of the Blavatnik
<br />Family Aquatic Center, ensuring that all structural systems met the project’s performance, safety, and
<br />architectural requirements.

<br />Mr. Rivera oversaw the structural components of the airport area remodeling for MIA Building 805. His
<br />responsibilities included preparing the signed and sealed structural repair drawings and calculations
<br />required for the project, along with the technical specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents. He
<br />coordinated with project stakeholders, conducted necessary site inspections, and completed the full
<br />engineering design package for permitting. Additionally, he supported the bid and award process, provided
<br />construction administration during the repairs including site visits, RFI responses, and review of submittals
<br />and finalized the as-built documentation and recertification report in compliance with Miami -Dade County
<br />requirements.
