29Conemco Engineering, Inc. - RFQ # 26-07-01.; CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA)
MARIELI P. FERREIRAS Project Designer

DTD 190 – Polk St. (from N26 Ave to N24th) (Hollywood, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras prepared a set of civil drawings for the design of approximately 950 linear feet of gravity
sewer line to connect the property to the City of Hollywood sewer system. This included 12 lateral
gravity sewer connections, water connection details, paving and drainage, and pavement restoration.
The design incorporated paving, grading, drainage with trench drain systems, marking and signage,
and a stormwater pollution prevention plan.

Saint Thomas University (Miami Gardens, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras prepared a complete set of structural plans and calculations for the fabrication and
installation of a 50’ x 30’ LED scoreboard and signage for the football field. She also developed civil
drawings and drainage calculations for Synthetic Turf Field #2 and the track. The civil drawings
included designs for drainage, earthwork, and material specifications in accordance with the
manufacturer’s recommendations. Additionally, Mrs. Ferreiras conducted a topographic survey of the
football field and surrounding areas to properly locate the 60’ x 30’ LED scoreboard support and
foundations, as well as the new track and field design. The survey included spot elevations for contour
lines, the location of water meters, cleanouts, utility boxes, water valves, catch basins, sewer
manholes with rim and invert elevations, pipe materials, edge of pavement, trees, swale areas,
sidewalks, top of curb, building location, and irrigation system heads.

Dolphin Linear Park – Walkway Lighting and Fitness Equipment EDP-PR-21030322001 (Miami
Gardens, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras prepared a set of drawings and calculations for six fitness equipment stations, one
cooling station, and six lighting pole base structures. The civil drawings included paving and drainage
for the fitness equipment stations, water connection and distribution for the cooling station and hose
bib, and all necessary utility coordination. Additionally, a preliminary cost estimate and specifications
were provided to prepare the completed bid package.

Blanche Ely High School Bus Loop Renovation (Pompano Beach, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras assisted with the preparation of a set of civil drawings for the re-grading, re-paving, and
installation of a new drainage system for the reconstruction and expansion of the existing bus drop-off
area. The scope also included the installation of a new aluminum walkway, construction of two
additional walkways for the proposed bus drop-off, and structural plans for the new screen wall to
enclose the existing cooling towers.

Deerfield Beach Middle School (Deerfield Beach, FL)
Mrs. Ferreiras played a key role in preparing civil plans for connecting Building 1's sprinkler system
and roof drainage leaders to the existing stormwater collection pipes. She meticulously reviewed the
available record drawings and existing specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Additionally, Mrs. Ferreiras conducted a special-purpose topographic survey, focused specifically on
the client's designated boundary areas, to provide accurate civil details and underground utility plans.
As an Assistant Civil Engineer, Mrs. Ferreiras demonstrated her technical expertise and attention to
detail, delivering high-quality results for the project.

Rojo Bros, LLC Building Office (Miami, FL)
As the Lead Coordinator for a civil and construction project, Mrs. Ferreiras played a critical role in the
development of stormwater drain improvements, new water and sewer connections, paving, and
sloping. She coordinated survey efforts and collaborated closely with the surveying team to collect
field data. Her team employed hybrid solutions, including pervious concrete and trench drains, to
reduce runoff and enable groundwater recharge. In addition to her coordination efforts, Mrs. Ferreiras
was instrumental in the Right of Way (R/W) mapping process, assisting with survey topo graphy,
horizontal and vertical controls, and R/W design and easements. She also reviewed survey designs
and R/W for several ingress and egress roadways.
