<br />Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, change requests, and
<br />payment documentation; provide site observations, technical
<br />support, record drawings, and closeout services.
<br />Scheduling will depend on assignment limits, access, traffic and pedestrian conditions, records availability,
<br />feature density, required utility investigations, water access, and the level of detail required. Field data
<br />collection and office processing may proceed concurrently to support accelerated assignments.
<br />Transportation / Transit / Traffic Engineering
<br />Transportation, transit, and traffic engineering are core CTS practices. CTS provides in-house expertise
<br />in traffic operations and safety, transportation planning, traffic forecasting and modeling, signalization,
<br />ITS and TSM&O, Complete Streets, transit planning, multimodal facilities, traffic calming, parking and
<br />curbside operations, data collection, signing and pavement markings, roadway lighting, maintenance
<br />of traffic, cost estimating, and construction documents. Our personnel have supported municipalities,
<br />counties, FDOT Districts 4 and 6, Miami-Dade County and TPO, Broward County Transit, MPOs, and
<br />regional transportation agencies through continuing-services contracts and individual assignments
<br />ranging from focused traffic studies to systemwide transportation and transit programs.
<br />CTS combines conventional transportation engineering with transit operations, GIS, data analytics,
<br />and implementation planning. Our capabilities include corridor and subarea planning, traffic impact
<br />and operational analysis, travel-demand forecasting, microsimulation, intersection control evaluations,
<br />signal warrants and timing, crash and safety analysis, parking-demand and utilization studies, curbside
<br />management, transportation demand management, school-zone evaluations, pedestrian and bicycle
<br />studies, ADA and accessibility reviews, and development of performance measures and prioritization
<br />tools. CTS also provides field data collection, including traffic counts, turning movements, speed and
<br />travel-time studies, queue observations, pedestrian and bicycle counts, transit ride checks, passenger
<br />counts, and stop- and route-level operational assessments.
