Tab 2 - Qualifications <br />services include SERPM data collection and model-validation support; STOPS coordination, <br />calibration, and analysis; transit onboard survey development and processing for the SMART <br />Program; and support for the Transportation Improvement Program, Unified Planning Work <br />Program, and long-range transportation planning. This experience provides CTS with direct <br />familiarity with Miami-Dade County’s transportation datasets, regional modeling practices, <br />planning priorities, agency coordination processes, and multimodal initiatives affecting Sunny <br />Isles Beach. <br />• Districtwide Safety Pushbutton Projects, FDOT District 6: CTS has advanced recommendations <br />from traffic operations studies, public requests, and fatal-crash reviews into accelerated design <br />assignments. Improvements have included pedestrian and multimodal facilities, ADA upgrades, <br />signalization, lighting, intersection modifications, drainage, signing and pavement markings, <br />fixed-object protection, and utility coordination. These assignments require close coordination <br />with FDOT Design, Traffic Operations and Construction, Miami-Dade County Traffic and <br />Signals, Miami-Dade Transit, and utility owners, with individual projects commonly advanced on <br />compressed schedules. <br />• General Engineering Services, Miami-Dade County DTPW: CTS has provided Project Manager <br />and Engineer-of-Record services for intersection improvements involving mast arms, pedestrian <br />countdown signals, ADA push buttons and curb ramps, drainage inlet modifications, milling and <br />resurfacing, pavement overbuild, utility coordination, signing, and pavement markings. CTS has <br />also designed speed-feedback signs, pedestrian enhancements, and school-zone improvements <br />requiring Miami-Dade County review and permitting. <br />Collectively, this experience demonstrates CTS’s ability to support the City with focused traffic studies, <br />transit planning, corridor and subarea evaluations, multimodal and Complete Streets initiatives, signal <br />timing, safety analysis, intersection control, parking and curbside studies, transportation data programs, <br />agency coordination, conceptual improvements, and final design. Just as importantly, CTS understands <br />how regional transportation systems affect local streets and can coordinate effectively with Miami-Dade <br />County, DTPW, the TPO, FDOT District 6, transit operators, municipalities, and community stakeholders. <br />PortMiami Tunnel Freight Mobility Evaluation Study <br />Project Manager: Yongqiang Wu, PE
