<br />Eva Campello, PE
<br />Project Manager
<br />18 Years of Experience
<br />Eva Campello, PE, will serve as Project Manager and the
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach’s primary point of contact.
<br />She brings 18 years of transportation engineering
<br />experience encompassing roadway and highway
<br />design, resurfacing and rehabilitation, widening and
<br />reconstruction, multimodal improvements, signing
<br />and pavement markings, signalization, lighting, utility
<br />coordination, pavement design, maintenance of traffic,
<br />and public-agency coordination. Eva began her career
<br />through FDOT’s comprehensive Professional Engineering
<br />Training Program, gaining experience across planning,
<br />environmental management, construction, and traffic
<br />operations. She subsequently served as Lead Roadway
<br />Designer, Assistant Section Leader for FDOT District 4’s
<br />In-House Design Section Two, and District 4 Pavement
<br />Design Specialist. This background gives her a practical
<br />understanding of agency review processes, current
<br />design standards, constructability, interdisciplinary
<br />coordination, and the level of documentation required to
<br />advance public infrastructure projects successfully.
<br />As Project Manager, Eva will lead work authorization
<br />development, confirm project objectives and deliverables,
<br />establish task-specific staffing, coordinate technical
<br />disciplines, and monitor schedule, budget, quality, and
<br />responsiveness. She will maintain direct communication
<br />with City staff, facilitate timely resolution of technical and
<br />coordination issues, and remain actively involved from
<br />initial scoping through final submittal and post-design
<br />support. Her combination of hands-on design expertise,
<br />agency experience, multidisciplinary leadership,
<br />and familiarity with complex urban transportation
<br />environments will help CTS provide the City with practical,
<br />coordinated, and implementation-ready solutions.
<br />Relevant Experience
<br />SR-820/Hollywood Boulevard RRR and Lighting – Lead Design Engineer
<br />Roadway rehabilitation, pedestrian-signal upgrades, enhanced crosswalks, drainage improvements, pavement markings, corridor lighting, and public outreach.
<br />SR-932/NW 103rd Street RRR and Safety – Lead Roadway and Signing Designer
<br />Milling and resurfacing, minor widening, ADA upgrades, signalization, signing and pavement markings, utility coordination, and drainage improvements.
<br />SR-7 Widening and Reconstruction – Lead Designer / Assistant Project Manager
<br />Urban arterial widening, roadway and signing design, stakeholder coordination, right-of-way considerations, and design-build procurement support.
<br />US-27 Safety Projects – Lead Design Engineer
<br />Roadway safety improvements, shoulder widening, auxiliary lanes, ITS enhancements, signing and pavement markings, drainage modifications, permitting, and utility coordination.
<br />FDOT District 4 Strategic
<br />Intermodal System Program Support – Lead Engineer
<br />Project needs identification, concept development, feasibility evaluation, design plans, cost estimates, field reviews, and access-permit reviews.
