City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL | RFQ # 26-07-01 | Continuing Professional Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | 41 <br />Client <br />City of Miami Beach <br />1700 Convention Center Drive <br />Miami Beach, FL 33139 <br />Contact Information at Time of Project: <br />Ghassan Choueiry <br />Project Manager <br />305-673-7000 x26064 <br />ghassanchoueiry@miamibeachfl.gov <br />Project Date <br />2024 - 2025 <br />Services Provided <br />Traffic Engineering <br />Traffic Design <br />Firm’s Fees <br />$ 191,639.00 <br />CGA was retained by the City of Miami Beach to provide traffic engineering and design <br />services for multimodal improvements along Lincoln Road Mall and within Flamingo Park. <br />The primary assignment consisted of the preparation of construction plans for pedestrian, <br />bicycle, accessibility, and roadway improvements, including high-emphasis crosswalks, <br />ADA-compliant curb ramps, bicycle parking facilities, raised crosswalks, signing and <br />pavement markings, drainage improvements, and associated roadway modifications. <br />Engineering services included topographic surveying, utility coordination, geotechnical <br />investigations, preparation of conceptual, 60%, 90%, 100%, and final signed and sealed <br />plans, engineer’s opinions of probable construction cost, technical specifications, Miami- <br />Dade DTPW permit approval, and bid document preparation. <br />As part of the project, CGA also performed a Leading Pedestrian Interval (LPI) warrant <br />study that included vehicular and pedestrian data collection, crash history analysis, <br />field investigations, operational evaluations in accordance with the Florida Department <br />of Transportation (FDOT) Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM) and the Manual on Uniform <br />Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and the development of operational recommendations <br />to support LPI implementation. <br />PEDESTRIAN PRIORITY ZONE <br />Miami Beach, FL
