Scope included repairing deck top and <br />roadway deficiencies, including spall repairs on abutments, bents, beams, and throughout <br />spans, and repairing exposed re-bar. Repairing longitudinal, transverse, and multi- <br />directional cracks throughout the entire bridge. Repairing spalls and cracks on piles, <br />using pile jackets. Cleaning corrosion and painting metal attachments on timber planks. <br />Replacing expansion joints and signs. Repairing and replacing concrete deck, sidewalk <br />and curb. Deck repairs required MOT full lane closures for concrete removal and curing. <br />Overwater work required full environmental turbidity and debris containment. <br />Time was extended four weeks, 18%, due to the additional spalling and cracking not <br />included in the plans. <br />Miami Beach, FL <br />HENEDON AVENUE BRIDGE REPAIR
