<br />Constructed pedestrian bridges over the Turnpike exit ramp and NW
<br />199 Street, plus two tunnels under Don Shula Drive.
<br />Scope included pile foundations, MSE walls, erosion control,
<br />drainage improvements, lighting, signalization, signage, pavement
<br />markings, precast concrete, curb and gutter, ADA-compliant sidewalks/
<br />ramps, landscaping, irrigation, temporary traffi c control, parking lot
<br />modifi cations, and pre-stressed precast tunnel segments.
<br />Additional work involved excavation, cofferdam with steel sheet piles,
<br />dewatering, concrete barrier walls, electrical, lighting, drainage, and
<br />pumps. Completed prior to the 2020 Super Bowl.

<br />2023 – 2024
<br />Performed roadway widening and overbuild corrections to super-
<br />elevated curves, installed a new ITS safety curve system with speed and
<br />weather sensors, and executed bridge widening for lighting over the
<br />SFWMD canal.
<br />Additional work included truss installations with DMS, lighting and
<br />guardrail installation, and milling and resurfacing.

<br />I-75 Alligator Alley Environmental Education Project
<br />FDOT District 4, FL
<br />2021 – 2024
<br />Led improvements at the I-75 Alligator Alley Eastbound Rest Area (mile
<br />30), including construction of educational amenities, reconfi gured
<br />parking, realigned access roads, drainage, utilities, lighting, sidewalks,
<br />and tree relocation.
<br />Delivered a three-story observation tower with elevated boardwalks
<br />on a multi-span bridge with 200 auger-cast foundations, an exhibit
<br />wetland area with educational signage, and installed ITS DMS signs,
<br />CCTV cameras, and wireless parking sensors.

<br />2021 – 2024
<br />Managed 5.8-mile roadway project from US 27 to the Orange County
<br />Line, including new 4-lane Urban Design construction (US 27 to
<br />Wellness Way) and 4.6-mile Rural Design (Wellness Way to county
<br />line).
<br />Scope included 15’ cuts and fi lls, road stabilization with clay soils and
<br />lime-rock base, structural and friction paving on mainline and turn
<br />lanes, paved shoulders, and new drainage system with curb, gutters,
<br />inlets, cross drains, outfalls, and ponds.
<br />Oversaw road realignment with super-elevated transitions and
<br />coordination with existing utilities until new utilities were installed at
<br />offsets.

<br />CEI Services for Okeechobee Road 1
<br />FDOT District 6, FL
<br />2021 – 2023
<br />Improvements included adding new acceleration and deceleration
<br />ramps and lanes, reconstructing Okeechobee Road/SR 25 with both
<br />rigid and fl exible pavement, and installing ITS systems, signalization,
<br />and lighting.
<br />Scope also included drainage upgrades and relocation of existing trees
<br />and palms along the corridor from the Broward County Line to west of
<br />the Turnpike.
