<br />RSW Airport Terminal Expansion
<br />Ft. Myers, Lee County FL
<br />ServedasProjectAdvisor,providingoversightandmanagementof
<br />geotechnicalexplorationprogramsandCMTservices,fromscope/budget
<br />developmentthroughconstruction.Theprojectincluded314auger-castpiles,
<br />for which we provided QA inspection services. Our services also included
<br />sampling and testing of construction materials, including, concrete, grout,
<br />reinforcing steel, welded connections, and soil density.
<br />CLT Airport Gas Main Installation & Railroad Crossing
<br />Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, NC
<br />ReviewingEngineer/ProjectAdvisor.Projectincludedgasmaininstallation
<br />of 650 LF of steel gas pipeline and 4,900 feet of 8-inch MDPE gas pipeline
<br />toincreaseservicefortheairportandsurroundingarea.Projectincludeda
<br />Norfolk Southern railroad crossing via HDD methods. Responsibilities included
<br />projectoversightandreviewofsoilstratigraphyanddrillpaths,aswellasfrack-
<br />out and stability evaluations.
<br />Small Unit Ranger Tactics (SURT) Facility

<br />ReviewingEngineer/ProjectAdvisor.Thisprojectconsistedoftwonewone-
<br />story to two-story buildings proposed for construction at the Fort Bragg Facility.
<br />My responsibilities included oversight and review of a geotechnical exploration
<br />fortheproposedbuildings,aswellasrecommendationsforfoundations,floor
<br />slabs,andearthwork.Challengesincludedloose/variableexistingfillsoils,
<br />likelyrequiringoverexcavation,aswellassensitivefine-grainedsoilsthatwould
<br />need moisture-conditioning and/or amendment.
