<br />Senior Marine Structural Engineer
<br />Colonial Club Seawall Repair and Replacement, Boynton Beach, Florida. Initially performed above and below water
<br />inspection for a 1,500 LF seawall in need of repair. Designed the new seawall consisting of AZ hot-rolled steel sheet
<br />pile, pre-stressed concrete batter piles, and a steel reinforced cap. Construction administration services were also
<br />performed as well as a serving as Special Inspector for the marine structural components during construction.
<br />River Landing Seawall and Mooring, Miami, Florida. The City of Miami proposed Public Riverwalk is being developed
<br />along the shoreline of the River Landing property site. The current seawall needs to be extended, stabilize the upland
<br />development, and establish mooring along the shoreline. Cummins Cederberg is managing the design, permitting,
<br />and construction administration of the seawall extension, as well as the design and development of a marginal dock.
<br />Currently in the process of submitting permit applications and selecting a contractor.
<br />Golden Bay Club Boat Lift, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Engineering design of (1) 24k boat lift piles.
<br />Marine Stadium Boat Ramps, Virginia Key, Florida. Provided environmental and marine engineering services to repair
<br />and improve the stadium boat ramps. Responsible for the structural design of new concrete boat ramp, fixed concrete
<br />docks and concrete floating dock piles to support vessel sizes up to 40’ LOA.
<br />Flamenco Towers Condominium, Aventura, Florida. Performed above and underwater inspection and condition
<br />assessment of approximately 600 feet of concrete seawall. Marine engineering and structural design of 600 feet of
<br />cantilevered steel sheet pile seawall.
<br />Fincantieri Shipyard, Jacksonville, Florida. Provided structural/marine engineering services for leading the design of
<br />nearly 2,000 LF of steel pipe pile bulkhead, mooring dolphins to accommodate the +/- 500 ft long dry dock facility,
<br />dredging along the length of the bulkhead, as well as fendering and mooring bollards. Services included marine
<br />structural engineering design and construction administration services.
<br />Derecktor Shipyards Travel Lift Design, Ft. Pierce, Florida. Marine engineering design and construction administration
<br />services for a new haul-out basin within an existing port pier and relieving platform to consist of auger cast-in-place
<br />pile foundations, pre-stressed pre-cast square concrete pile foundations, and reinforced concrete relieving platform
<br />slab for support a 1500-ton mobile boat hoist.
<br />PortMiami Bulkhead, Miami, Florida. Performed an in-water inspection of the submerged portion of the South
<br />Bulkhead and RoRo platform at PortMiami as part of their master plan. Inspected the support piles, sheet pile wall,
<br />bulkhead cap and general conditions of the bulkhead and underwater elements of the RoRo platform.
<br />Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Miami, Florida. Structural design of repairs of concrete, concrete block, and historic
<br />features and components to the existing concrete ship breakwater and concrete ship landing.
<br />Coco Plum Beach Restoration, Monroe County, Florida. Evaluated options to reduce erosion and extend the performance
<br />of the beach nourishment projects. This included an erosion study to analyze site specific coastal processes, benthic
<br />and coastal vegetation survey to quantify potential impacts to resources, beach conceptual designs involving coastal
<br />structures to provide long term stability, and permit feasibility of proposed concepts. Responsible for the construction
<br />administration of beach restoration project.
<br />Fisher Island Scour Analysis, Fisher Island, Florida. Conducted below-water probe analysis via SCUBA to determine
<br />the depth of hard soil layers encountered throughout the 120-foot ferry terminal.
<br />Little Palm Island, Little Torch Key, Florida. Project consisted of engineering design of dredging and rehabilitation of
<br />the sunset dock that experienced damaging impacts of Hurricane Irma in 2017. Responsible for above- and below-
<br />water inspection and condition assessment of the existing timber dock structure, and structural design of 4,000 (+/-)
<br />square feet fixed timber dock, 500 (+/-) floating dock and associated mooring piles. Structural design to include all
<br />associated vertical loading, vessel mooring loading and wind loading to accommodate mooring vessels in sustained
<br />tropical storm conditions.
