In her previous position, she <br />played a key role in managing joint FEMA/HUD projects, crafting State <br />Action Plans, and offering technical support to improve compliance <br />processes. Serving as the Mitigation Program Manager at the Florida <br />Department of Economic Opportunity, she successfully managed a <br />$633 million portfolio spanning three grant programs. Leading a team <br />of nine, she supervised more than 100 grants, with a strong emphasis <br />on compliance standards through programmatic reviews and updates. <br />In her earlier role as a Mitigation Program Analyst, she proactively <br />communicated grant opportunities to stakeholders, implemented <br />effective outreach strategies, and evaluated funding allocations to <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />West Palm Beach Resiliency Funding, West Palm Beach, Florida. <br />Preparing the grant for applying for the City Adaptation Plan funding. <br />This project will help inform future projects related to resiliency and <br />public waterfront access for the city, and preparation for climate <br />change impacts. <br />Citywide Strategic Seawall Capital Improvement Plan, St. Petersburg, <br />Florida. Providing grant and compliance support for the repair/ <br />replacement options of approximately ~72,000 LF (13.6 miles) of <br />municipal seawalls, assessed and classified by condition by Cummins <br />Cederberg engineers. This strategic seawall capital improvement <br />plan considers rising sea levels, increased severe storm events, and <br />the City’s vision for the seawalls by neighborhood and the downtown <br />waterfront district. Services include the development of a GIS database <br />for the seawalls, a coastal design toolbox, prioritization of repairs and/ <br />or replacements based on available funding, maintenance of a project <br />website, grant support, and recommendations for changes to local <br />seawall ordinances. <br />Town of Jupiter Island Vulnerability Assessment, Hobe Sound, Florida. <br />Providing grant administration and oversight for the vulnerability <br />assessment for the Town. Helping to identify critical assets and <br />empower them to prioritize the implementation of future resilience <br />initiatives. <br />Tidal Flood Mitigation and Shoreline Protection, Hollywood, Florida. <br />The project consists of evaluating 22 areas, covering over 10,000 LF of <br />shoreline, along the areas known as North and South Lake in the City of <br />Hollywood.
