RFQ #26-07-01 | 73 <br /> <br />Enrique “Rick” Crooks, PE <br />PRINCIPAL – IN - CHARGE <br /> <br />Summary <br />Mr. Crooks is an accomplished engineer with over 35 years of experience. His engineering <br />experience is extensive and yet diverse. Mr. Crooks has successfully held positions that range <br />from design engineer to project manager, and as such is familiar with every aspect of consulting <br />engineering. Mr. Crooks has significant experience in the planning, design and management of <br />engineering projects. service. Mr. Crooks has vast experience working for municipalities, FDOT <br />Districts and tolling agencies throughout the state. <br />Biscayne Point Neighborhood Improvements <br />CLIENT City of Miami Beach | ROLE Principal-In-Charge <br />The project encompassed improvements to the existing water distribution mains to enhance <br />serviceability levels for potable water distribution and fire protection requiring the design of <br />approximately 20,000 linear feet of water mains. <br />NE 39th & NE 40th Streets Streetscape Improvements <br />CLIENT Miami-Dade County | ROLE Project Principal <br />Project Principal overseeing the roadway design services and other streetscape improvements <br />for the project. These projects were part of a continuing transportation contract and consisted <br />of the roadway improvements within the project limits of NE 39th and NE 40th Streets from North <br />Miami Ave. to NE 2nd Ave. The improvements reconfigured the existing typical section within <br />the project limits. <br />Palm Avenue (Stirling Road to Griffin) <br />CLIENT Broward County | ROLE Project Principal <br />Project Principal overseeing this project which was intended to increase the traffic flow along <br />the Palm Avenue corridor through the provision of a four lane section with bike lanes and <br />sidewalk. This project required the widening and reconstruction of the existing three lane <br />roadway of Palm Avenue (SW 100th Avenue) to accommodate a four lane divided typical section <br />from Stirling Rd to Griffin Rd. <br />Sunrise Blvd. (Hiatus Road to Pine Island Road) <br />CLIENT Broward County Highway Engineering Services | ROLE Project Principal <br />Project Principal responsible for the highway design and construction management for the <br />widening and resurfacing of this 1.5 mile segment of the existing four-lane divided Sunrise Blvd. <br />between Hiatus Road and Pine Island Road. <br />41st Street Beautification Bridge Rehabilitation <br />CLIENT City of Miami Beach | ROLE Project Manager <br />Project Manager for the rehabilitation of 41st Street Bridges. This is being done as part of the <br />improvements to corridor to develop a signature roadway, which will spearhead the <br />development of this portion of the City. The project requires the rehabilitation of the bridges and <br />their subsequent improvements. The improvements included replacement of the barriers with <br />ornamental barriers, the addition of a sidewalk canopy, the provision of planters and flagpoles <br />as well as ornamental lighting.
