Her specializations include plan development and
review, construction management and inspections, pavement evaluation, stakeholder and
project portfolio management, regulatory compliance and Capital Improvement Plan
development and execution.
MIA Concourse D West Extension – D60 Building & Apron
CLIENT Miami Dade Aviation Department | ROLE Engineer of Record and Project Manager
Project Manager led the MIA Concourse D West Extension – D60 Building & Apron, adding 17
new aircraft gates. Scope included reconfiguration and expansion of the airside footprint and
execution of complex utility relocations critical to enabling terminal growth. The work demands
seamless integration of airside operations, phasing, utility planning, and constructability to
support one of MIA’s most significant capacity enhancements to date.
Rail Line from Miami to Orlando
CLIENT Brightline Speed Rail | ROLE Design Engineer
Part of the team responsible for the assessment of 88 of the Phase 1 grade crossings in South
Florida. Provided transportation design services such as utility coordination and conflict
identification, horizontal grade crossing geometry and signage, ADA compliance, pedestrian
safety measures, traffic control, pavement markings, and overall implementation of FDOT and
FAR design standards.
LNA Fuel Farm and Wash Rack
CLIENT Palm Beach County Department of Airports | ROLE Engineer of Record and Project
Manager
Engineer of record and project manager led the design execution, permitting and
multidisciplinary coordination of this fuel farm project. Provided Construction Administration
Services during the construction of the fuel farm. The purpose of the project is to minimize the
FBO’s operating costs by providing a fuel farm with self-serve options to LNA where there
previously wasn’t one. A wash rack and vacuuming station was also be provided, as well as
structural foundations and apron reconstruction improvements.
F45 Perimeter AOA Security Fence Improvements
CLIENT Palm Beach County Department of Airports | ROLE Engineer of Record and Project
Manager
Engineer of record and project manager led the project’s design, permitting and construction
administration. Kaly’s permitting involvement in this project is particularly significant, as the
airport abuts natural areas that are federally protected and monitored by the US Army Corps of
Engineers, SFWMD and ERM. The purpose of the project is to design, bid and construct
approximately 12,000 linear feet (LF) of new AOA Security Fencing. The new fence augmented
the existing fence at the Airport and established a completely bound AOA. The fully enclosed
fence helped to reduce wildlife and non-authorized access into the existing AOA, enhancing
safety and security at F45.
12 Years of Experience
Education
MS, Master of Business
Administration, Northwestern
University’s Kellogg School of
Business
BS, Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering, Cum Laude,
Florida Atlantic University
Licenses
Professional Engineer
Florida 85248
Software Expertise
FAARFIELD
AviPLAN
AutoCAD
Microsoft Project
Bluebeam Revu
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint
Notion and Canva
