He has been responsible for the overall management, staff direction, <br />and technical guidance for large-scale transportation facilities, projects and programs including <br />design and construction management services for the last 20+ years. <br />East Palm Drive Canal Culverting and Roadway Widening <br />CLIENT City of Florida City | ROLE QA/QC Review <br />Civil Engineering Review. The project’s major scope of work consists of culvert installation, <br />pavement widening construction, milling and resurfacing, utilities adjustment and drainage <br />improvement and striping, which mostly runs through residential and commercial areas. The <br />drainage scope included the culverting the existing Florida City Canal with a 91”x142” culvert to <br />widen the roadway. A stormwater management system was designed to provide water quality <br />and quantity. An aeration system was placed within the culvert to meet the required dissolved <br />oxygen levels per permit requirements. An environmental resource permit (ERP) was obtained <br />from South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and Class II and III permits were <br />obtained from Miami-Dade Division of Environmental Resource Management (DERM). <br /> Star Island Infrastructure Improvements <br />CLIENT City of Miami Beach Capital Improvements Office | ROLE Project Manager <br />Project Manager for the Civil design and Construction services for the water main and roadway <br />improvements, including: Milling, resurfacing, and Installation of traffic calming features for East <br />and West Star Island Drive, design of 1,500 LF of 8” WM to replace existing water lines and <br />lighting for entry feature. <br /> Carrolton School of Scared Heart <br />CLIENT Carrolton School of Scared Heart | ROLE Project Manager <br />Project Manager for this project included construction of parking facilities, new loop roadway <br />and decorative bricks, landscaping and lighting improvements. It also included construction of <br />2,700 LF of 12” water main extension, one pump station, 3,000 LF of 8” force main and sewer <br />collection system improvements. <br /> <br />SR 836 from 167 Ave & Tamiami Trail to SW 136 Street <br />CLIENT Greater Miami Expressway Agency | ROLE Project Manager <br />Project Manager for Dolphin Park and Ride Operation and Maintenance plan. The key <br />components include 870 parking spaces, transit platform area for 12 sawtooth bus bays and 10 <br />bus layover bays with covered waiting area, transit hub with airconditioned passenger waiting <br />area and retail space, drivers break lounge, drop off/pickup area for kiss and ride users and <br />taxi/transportation network companies, landscaping, lighting signing and fencing. Estimate <br />construction cost: $18M. Prepare procurement documents for emergency asset management <br />contracts. Annual operations contracts included guardrail, pavement, structures, and drainage, <br />sweeping, landscaping, janitorial services, mowing and debris removal.
