<br />Summary
<br />Mr. Desdunes has over 40 years of civil engineering and management experience in the
<br />transportation infrastructure industry. He is an accomplished transportation executive with over
<br />35 years of diverse experience in the areas of program management, transportation planning,
<br />public involvement, public transportation, project development, environmental management,
<br />roadway design, traffic operations, and right of way activities. Mr. Desdunes has held positions
<br />of increasing responsibility at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) from Roadway
<br />Design Engineer to Director of Transportation Development. While serving as the District Six
<br />Director of Transportation Development, he oversaw all aspects of the planning, project
<br />development, design, and contract procurement for a five-year work program valued at 4-billion
<br />dollars, funded with local, state, toll, and federal revenues. As Senior Vice President at EAC

<br />NE 79th Street Bridge Replacement
<br />CLIENT FDOT District 6 / ROLE Project Manager
<br />Project Manager for this Bridge replacement project along SR 934 / NE 79th Street Causeway
<br />in North Bay Village. Project improvements includes the replacement of four existing bridges
<br />with two new bridges that are elevated to enhance resilience against sea level rise and
<br />incorporating additional protection measures. The project also includes roadway widening, as
<br />well as implementation of bicycle lanes, new sidewalk, curb-ramp and curb and gutter
<br />reconstruction, drainage improvements, ADA upgrades, signalization and lighting
<br />improvements, signing and marking upgrades, utility adjustments, subsurface utility engineering
<br />services, hydraulic modeling, and environmental and drainage permitting.
<br />North Cruise Boulevard Extension Phase III Bridge Flyover
<br />CLIENT Port Miami / ROLE QA/QC
<br />QA/QC for this project which consists of a Roadway and Bridge “Fly Over”. Structure
<br />improvements at the Port of Miami to alleviate adverse traffic flow conditions for the Port’s
<br />current and future Cruise Terminal development program. The scope of work includes roadway
<br />horizontal and vertical alignment, typical sections, drainage design, lighting, signing and
<br />pavement markings, utilities coordination, water and sewer adjustment and relocation plans and
<br />Maintenance of traffic.
<br />NW 17th Avenue Bridge Over Miami River - PD&E
<br />CLIENT Miami-Dade County DTPW / ROLE QA/QC
<br />Project involves a comprehensive study to evaluate options for the rehabilitation, replacement,
<br />or maintenance of the NW 17th Avenue bascule bridge and the flyover bridge by assessing the
<br />structural integrity, functionality, and long-term viability of the bridges while considering
<br />community impact, budget constraints, and future transportation needs.
<br />Greater Miami Expressway (GMX) System-Wide Pavement-Only
<br />CLIENT GMX | ROLE Chief Engineer
<br />Chief Engineer for this milling and resurfacing project along the mainline and ramp pavements
<br />at 7 segments located throughout the GMX systemwide facilities at SR 836, SR 112, SR 924,
<br />and SR 878. Project improvements included repaving and restriping the existing pavement,
<br />pavement marking upgrades, and temporary traffic control.
