Experience includes managing a <br />24 million dollar program to upgrade street lighting and over 600 signalized intersections His <br />experience leading design and multi-disciplinary coordination for projects throughout Miami <br />Dade and Monroe County and has provided a comprehensive understanding of local lighting <br />specifications and preferences for limited access highways, structures, bridges, major arterials, <br />interchanges, ramps, and buildings. He has also developed statewide and local <br />design/construction requirements for FDOT and Miami Dade County and is also well-versed in <br />signal design requirements for high-capacity urban arterials and developed several guidelines <br />for lighting and signalization design requirements for FDOT. <br />City of Miami Beach LED Upgrade Project <br />CLIENT City of Miami Beach | ROLE Engineer of Record <br />Perform lighting analysis and design services as part of the Citywide Lighting Upgrade <br />Initiative. Design plans for locations selected approved by the City, which are estimated to be <br />approximately around 1400 luminaires based on $3.5M construction budget estimated by the <br />City. <br />NE 79th Street Bridge Replacement Project <br />CLIENT FDOT District 6 / ROLE Electrical Engineer <br />Bridge replacement project along SR 934 / NE 79th Street Causeway in North Bay Village. <br />Project improvements include the replacement of four existing bridges with two new bridges that <br />are elevated to enhance resilience against sea level rise and incorporating additional protection <br />measures. The project also includes roadway widening, as well as implementation of bicycle <br />lanes, new sidewalk, curb-ramp and curb and gutter reconstruction, drainage improvements, <br />ADA upgrades, signalization and lighting improvements, signing and marking upgrades, utility <br />adjustments, subsurface utility engineering services, hydraulic modeling, and environmental and <br />drainage permitting. <br />East Palm Drive Phase II from S.W. 172nd Avenue to SE 13th Avenue <br />CLIENT City of Florida City| ROLE Engineer of Record <br />Lighting improvements and Aeration System electrical design. Improvements include analysis <br />and design of a new street lighting system and a new aeration system for a median canal. <br />Florida Department of Transportation <br />ROLE District Traffic Design Engineer <br />Duties include EOR for all District 6 internal design street lighting, Signalization, Signing & <br />Marking and intelligent Transportation plans. Responsible for developing and maintaining <br />electrical standards for District 6. Project manager for District wide contracts to improve <br />pedestrian street lighting for over 600 signalized intersections. Project manager and EOR for <br />multiple lighting, signalization, and signing & marking projects. EOR for multiple internal FDOT <br />design projects.
