Lauderdale, FL 33316Contact Phone: (954) 815-1395Project Status: Completed in 2024 <br />8RFQ #26-07-01 Edgewater Group <br />The City of Fort Lauderdale, the Yachting Capital of the <br />World, issued an RFP for the expansion and enhancement <br />of the Las Olas Marina. In partnership with Suntex <br />Marinas, Edgewater led the design and engineering of <br />the redeveloped Las Olas Marina, which became one of <br />Suntex Marinas’ newest locations in its growing portfolio <br />of marina destinations nationwide. <br />The redevelopment included a $25 million investment <br />that enhanced the waterfront to serve local residents, <br />achieved world-class standards to attract and <br />accommodate the finest mega yachts, aligned with the <br />goals of the Central Beach Master Plan, and provided <br />expanded facilities for the Fort Lauderdale International <br />Boat Show. The project implemented innovative <br />sustainable design features that supported the City of <br />Fort Lauderdale in meeting the objectives outlined in its <br />Sustainability Action Plan. <br />The marina was designed for both small vessels and <br />mega yachts and expanded available dockage from <br />3,430 linear feet to a total of 5,540 linear feet, with a <br />grand opening in December 2024. <br />About the Project
