Qualifications <br />Owner: ACME MarinasProject Address: 1940 NE 135th St, North Miami, FL 33181Contact Phone: (251) 533-4644Project Status: Ongoing <br />9RFQ #26-07-01 Edgewater Group <br />TNT Marina is an established working waterfront in North <br />Miami, but its existing conditions, including buildings <br />constructed in the 1950s, operational congestion, and <br />outdated infrastructure, no longer meet the demands <br />of today’s boating industry. Modern vessels have evolved <br />significantly; a 30 foot boat today is not comparable to <br />a 30 foot boat from the 1980s, with substantial increases <br />in height, weight, and service requirements. <br />Edgewater’s redesign responds directly to these <br />challenges by creating a modern facility that preserves <br />the working waterfront while addressing current <br />community needs. The project includes a new 107 boat <br />drystack, new wet slips, exterior boat racks, a redesigned <br />parking area, a new seawall, and a complete landscape <br />design plan. These improvements enhance operational <br />efficiency while modernizing the marina’s appearance <br />and functionality. <br />The design also improves aesthetics for neighboring <br />properties and Biscayne Boulevard, incorporates green <br />initiatives and onsite stormwater retention, reduces noise <br />impacts to adjacent areas, and is designed for long term <br />storm resiliency and hurricane protection. <br />Together, these improvements create a modern, efficient, <br />and future ready marina that supports North Miami’s <br />evolving waterfront. <br />About the Project
