Staffing City of Riviera Beach Qualifications for Marine/Marina Consulting Services Ronald Schults, P.E. | CEO Port of Rochester Marina (Rochester, NY) Ron led planning and engineering for a 180-slip marina and public waterfront park along the Genesee River. The project included site utility coordination, shoreline protection design, dock system engineering, anchorage and buoyancy calculations, ADA compliance, and multi-agency regulatory approvals. Harbor Village at Harbor Shores (St. Joseph, MI) Ron served as principal engineer for this waterfront development, overseeing engineering design, permitting, code compliance, marina layout, stormwater infrastructure, roadway planning, and marina utility systems including electrical and potable water distribution. East Tawas State Harbor (East Tawas, MI) Ron supervised planning, design, and permitting of a multi-phase marina redevelopment project for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The project included market feasibility studies, dock design, utility system planning, marina layout, and regulatory coordination for an 80+ slip floating dock marina facility. Town of Palm Beach Municipal Marina (Palm Beach, FL) Ron provided principal oversight for environmental permitting and regulatory approvals associated with the Town of Palm Beach public marina dock replacement project, including coordination of FDEP ERP permitting, submerged lands leasing, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approvals. 31st Street Harbor (Chicago, IL) Ron led marina engineering for the nationally recognized 31st Street Harbor redevelopment in Chicago. Responsibilities included dock structure design, buoyancy and stability calculations, marina utilities engineering, ADA compliance, and construction oversight. The project received numerous national awards for sustainable waterfront design. Gateway Harbor (Chicago, IL) Ron led the engineering team for development of a new 250-slip destination harbor for the Chicago Park District adjacent to Navy Pier. The $55 million project included reconstruction of the historic Dime Pier and incorporated sustainable design strategies, habitat creation, and public waterfront access. Harbor Village at Manistee Beach (Manistee, MI) Ron served as project engineer and development partner for this $150 million mixed-use waterfront development that includes marina facilities, residential development, and commercial uses. The 66-acre project has been constructed in multiple phases and has significantly transformed the Manistee waterfront International Marina Development Experience Ron has led marina feasibility studies, master planning, and engineering design for major international waterfront developments across Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
