Compass Landing By Margaritaville (Melbourne, FL)
Compass Landing by Margaritaville is a $111 million waterfront resort
redevelopment in Melbourne, Florida, transforming a former multi-use marina
facility into a destination resort featuring a hotel, restaurants, event space,
waterfront promenade, and marina. Edgewater Group has been involved since
project inception, providing feasibility analysis, permitting, engineering design,
bidding support, and construction administration. Erik led permit coordination,
preliminary and final engineering design, construction document preparation,
bid support, contract negotiations, and construction oversight for the project’s
226-slip marina and waterfront promenade, which are currently under
construction.
Downtown Sanford Marina (Sanford, FL)
The Downtown Sanford Marina is a city-owned and privately managed facility
originally constructed in the 1960s and expanded over time to include a 159-
boat dry stack facility and 269 wet slips. Erik conducted a comprehensive
condition assessment and has worked with the City of Sanford to develop a
long-term redevelopment strategy to modernize the marina and establish it
as a waterfront destination. His work has included public design charrettes,
economic impact analysis, marina master planning, and permitting. Following
hurricane damage, he has also assisted the City with FEMA funding coordination
and emergency repair permitting.Contact
