<br />Scott Davis | Director of Environmental Sciences
<br />Scott Davis will lead environmental coordination, regulatory permitting, and natural resource
<br />compliance for environmental and coastal engineering assignments performed for the City of Sunny
<br />Isles Beach. With more than 24 years of experience in environmental sciences, ecological assessments,
<br />permitting, and regulatory compliance, he provides technical leadership for projects involving coastal
<br />resources, shoreline improvements, waterfront infrastructure, and environmental restoration.
<br />Scott has extensive experience conducting ecological assessments, benthic and natural resource
<br />surveys, environmental due diligence, and permitting coordination for projects throughout Florida. He
<br />has successfully secured Environmental Resource Permits and coordinated approvals with numerous
<br />regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Florida Department of
<br />Environmental Protection (FDEP), Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), U.S.
<br />Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), water management districts, and other local, state, and federal
<br />agencies. His ability to coordinate with regulatory agencies early in the project development process
<br />helps streamline permitting and minimize potential project delays.
<br />For the City’s assignments, Scott will provide environmental due diligence, natural resource
<br />assessments, agency coordination, permitting strategy, environmental documentation, and regulatory
<br />compliance support. He will work closely with the project team throughout planning, design, permitting,
<br />and construction to ensure projects are developed in a manner that protects natural resources while
<br />meeting applicable environmental regulations and the City’s project objectives.
<br />Level of Involvement: Environmental permitting, regulatory coordination, ecological assessments,
<br />environmental field investigations, survey coordination, natural resource evaluations, and
<br />environmental compliance support.
<br />Ken Williams, AR | Architect
<br />Ken Williams will provide architectural design, planning, and building code expertise for environmental
<br />and coastal engineering assignments performed for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. A Registered
<br />Architect in the State of Florida with more than four decades of professional experience, he brings
<br />extensive knowledge of architectural design, constructability, and regulatory compliance for public
<br />facilities, waterfront developments, and municipal infrastructure.
<br />Ken provides architectural support for public access improvements, waterfront amenities, boardwalks,
<br />observation structures, marina support buildings, parks, and other facilities associated with coastal and
<br />environmental projects. He works closely with engineering, environmental, and surveying professionals
<br />to integrate architectural elements into multidisciplinary projects while ensuring compliance with the
<br />Florida Building Code, ADA requirements, permitting regulations, and local development standards.
<br />For the City’s assignments, Ken will provide architectural planning, conceptual design, code review,
<br />and technical support for facilities associated with shoreline improvements, coastal resiliency
<br />projects, parks, and public waterfront infrastructure. His involvement will help ensure that architectural
<br />components are functional, durable, aesthetically compatible with their surroundings, and well
<br />coordinated with the overall engineering design.
<br />Level of Involvement: Architectural planning and design, building code compliance, multidisciplinary
<br />coordination, and technical support for environmental and coastal infrastructure projects.
