<br />Kristin Connell is a Senior Project Manager of Natural Resourcesat GEI. She has over a decade
<br />of experience completing and coordinating federal, state, and local wetlands permitting in
<br />Connecticut and Massachusetts. Additionally, Ms. Connell has field and leadership experience
<br />in wetland delineation, wildlife habitat assessment, and other field data collection.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Confidential Client, Southern Connecticut. Served as the project manager to coordinate
<br />engineering and contractor services to meet state and federal permitting needs for
<br />several large coastal dredging projects. Certain efforts required coordination of biological
<br />assessments, essential fish habitat assessments, and compliance with the migratory bird
<br />treaty act.
<br />Congress Street Flood Mitigation Project, Avangrid/United Illuminating, Bridgeport, CT.
<br />Managed coastal resource permitting and related construction oversight. Maintained clear
<br />communication with regulators, the client, and contractors to continue forward progress
<br />and maintain project timelines.

<br />construction oversight. Maintained clear communication with regulators, the client, and

<br />Potter Hill Mill, Westerly, RI. Served as wetland delineator, habitat assessor, and peer
<br />reviewer at a former mill site proposed for demolition and reuse as a public park.

<br />assessor, and peer reviewer at a former mill site proposed for demolition and reuse as a
<br />public park.
<br />Eversource Transmission Upgrades, Statewide, MA. Completed wetland delineations
<br />along right of ways and access roadways. Observed installation of temporary roadways and
<br />completed erosion and sedimentation inspections. Provided oversight for the installation of
<br />a permanent water crossing as well as post-construction wetland monitoring and associated
<br />reporting.
<br />Utility Transmission Upgrades, Statewide, MA. Completed wetland delineations along

<br />environmental and social impact assessment of a historic building rehabilitation and new
<br />construction for a school. Required coordination with interested parties to address historical
<br />building concerns and tribal coordination for earthwork.
