Performed an inspection of <br />precast prestressed concrete piles and steel piles above and below water. The data gathered <br />was used to give a structural assessment of the facility to the client. (2024) <br />Facility Inspection, South Jersey Port – Camden – Berth 1, Camden, NJ. Performed <br />an above / below water inspection of a timber framed low-level relieving platform where <br />a portion had collapsed. The purpose of the inspection was to clearly define repair limits <br />surrounding the collapse and evaluate the capacity of the remaining structure. (2024) <br />Post Construction Inspection, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Bourne, MA. Performed <br />an underwater inspection of the newly refurbished pier at Mass Maritime to ensure it is in <br />compliance with GEI’s drawings before construction was closed out. (2024) <br />Facility Inspection, Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, New York, NY. Performed an inspection <br />on multiple elements above and below water at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Brooklyn <br />NY, including but not limited to revetments, steel sheet pile bulkheads, timber piles, and <br />concrete encased timber bulkheads. The data gathered was given to the primary contractor, <br />Colliers Engineering & Design. (2024) <br />Facility Inspection, Conley Shipping Terminal – Berth 17, Boston, MA. Performed an <br />above and below water inspection of multiple elements of Berth 17 in the Conley Terminal. <br />Inspection elements included timber piles, concrete decking, mooring fixtures and steel piles. <br />The data gathered was used to evaluate the wharf for a submarine commencement ceremony <br />and determine what repairs are required to host the submarine. (2024) <br />Mooring Analysis, Kiewit / Austal Shipyard, Mobile, AL. Performed mooring analyses for <br />a proposed ship lift in Mobile Alabama. Criteria for mooring was strict due to the high risk of <br />hurricanes in the area. The mooring analysis estimated loads the structure will be exposed to <br />given the weather conditions and ship characteristics. The output loads were used as a basis <br />of design for the ship lift. (2024) <br />Facility Inspection, Erie Basin, New York, NY. Performed an inspection on multiple <br />elements above and below water at the Erie Basin in Brooklyn, NY including but not limited to <br />revetments, steel sheet pile bulkheads, timber piles. The data gathered was used to provide <br />repair recommendations to the client. (2023) <br />Facility Inspection, Seagirt Marine Terminal, Baltimore, MD. Performed an above water <br />/ below water inspection on a concrete low level relieving platform. The data gathered was <br />used to give a structural assessment of the facility to the client. (2023) <br />Facility Inspection, Boston Harbor Islands, Boston, MA. Performed above water / below <br />water inspections of the ferry landing structures at Grape, Bumpkin, Lovells, Gallops, <br />Georges, Spectacle, Peddocks, and Little Brewster Islands. The ferry landings included timber <br />pile and concrete pile supported piers, barges, gangways, revetments, and retaining walls. <br />The data gathered was used to give a structural assessment of the facilities to the client. <br />(2022) <br />Cost Estimation, Newburyport Wharf, Newburyport, MA. Provided a cost estimate for a <br />full bulkhead / wharf replacement to the Town of Newburyport MA so they can secure FEMA <br />funding. (2022) <br />Fender Design, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Bourne, MA. Designed a fender system <br />as part of the larger pier renovation project. Performed calculations to determine the size <br />of the fender required to withstand the applied ship loading and performed calculations to <br />ensure the fender itself has sufficient capacity to withstand these loads.
