Richmond, US PowerGen Narrows, US PowerGen Gowanus, <br />and Astoria PowerGen. <br />Rehabilitation Engineering & Construction Support <br />Services <br />Brooklyn and Manhattan Cruise Terminal Piers 12, 88, <br />90 and 92 Construction Duration Inspections, New York, <br />NY: Inspection Team Leader. Performed for Construction <br />Managers contracted by the NYC Economic Development <br />Corporation, the scope of services included performing above <br />and underwater special inspections to monitor and verify <br />the construction. In addition to repairs to the deck soffit, the <br />project included encasing pile clusters and individual piles <br />supporting Brooklyn Cruise Terminal and Manhattan Cruise <br />Terminal Piers. <br />Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery Steamer Docks Resident <br />Engineering Services, New York, NY: Inspection Team <br />Leader. Performed for a private client, the scope included full- <br />time resident engineering services and performing above and <br />underwater special inspections relating to the rehabilitation <br />of the deteriorated concrete pile foundation, framing system <br />and the installation of a sacrificial cathodic protection <br />system. Project required facilitating proactive and effective <br />communication between the Construction Manager and <br />Contractors, and the ability to designate and develop revised <br />designs as needed in response to unforeseen conditions. <br />East 34th Street Underwater Construction Inspections, <br />New York, NY: Inspection Team Leader. Performed for the <br />construction manager contracted by the NYC Economic <br />Development Corporation, the scope of services included <br />performing above and underwater special inspections to <br />monitor and verify the construction while implementing a <br />specially designed Microsoft Access database. In addition <br />to repairs to the concrete framing and seawall fascia, the <br />construction comprised encapsulating individual timbers piles <br />and installing a sacrificial cathodic protection system.
