MBTA Alfred Street Bus Garage Sheet Pile Wall and <br />Site Repairs Charlestown, MA: Project Manager/Senior <br />Engineer-Diver for the underwater and above water inspection <br />of the bulkhead located at the Alford Street MBTA Bus Garage, <br />in Charlestown, MA. The objective of the inspection was to <br />assess the structural integrity of the bulkhead, complete a <br />hydrographic survey of the site, develop cost estimates for <br />various remedial alternatives, and provide marine engineering <br />design coordination and peer reviews with the project team. <br />Hampton Harbor State Marina Waterfront <br />Rehabilitation PDA-Division of Ports & Harbors, <br />Hampton, NH:) Project Engineer-Diver. Provided inspection <br />and design services to rehabilitate a commercial fishing ports’ <br />waterfront facility in Hampton, NH. Rehabilitation involved <br />installing sheet pile outside of an existing deteriorated wall, <br />floating docks, and utilities including water, electrical, fuel, <br />lighting, and security cameras at an estimated construction <br />cost of $1,500,000. <br />Design of Repairs to Marginal Wharf at Naval Sub <br />Base New London, Groton, CT: Project Engineer-Diver for <br />the inspection and design of repairs to the 56 year old Marginal <br />Wharf at Naval Submarine Base New London. This project <br />consisted of above and under water design level inspections to <br />the approximately 6,600 LF long Marginal Wharf and bulkhead, <br />preparation of a basis of design report with recommended <br />repairs totaling $24,000,000, design drawings, technical <br />specifications, and permit preparation. <br />Specialized Projects <br />Design of Underwater Electro-Magnetic <br />Measurements System (UEMMS) Naval Base Guam, <br />US: Territory Engineer-in-Charge for the design of an <br />Underwater Electro-Magnetic Measurement System (UEMMS) <br />that will provide the U.S. Navy with the capability to measure <br />magnetic signatures and electric fields of submarines <br />forward deployed and homeported at Naval Base Guam. <br />Responsibilities included project management and direct <br />client contact for the development of contract documents <br />as well as oversight of subcontractors performing site and <br />geotechnical investigations.
