COMPRES, PE <br />121 <br />documentation for the FDOT permitting process, ongoing inspections during construction, and final <br />certification as required by the city. <br />Structural and Civil Plans Review Committee -South Florida Water Management District <br />(SFWMD) (West Palm Beach, FL) <br />Mr. Compres was responsible for the structural and civil review of project plans, specifications, and <br />the Engineering Design Report for multiple projects under the South Florida Water Management <br />District (SFWMD). Key projects included the Storm Treatment Areas Compartment C Build-out, the <br />B509B Compartment B Build-out, and the Hurricane Hardening of Structure S352D. <br />SE Drainage Project -Pump Station Design (Dania Beach, FL) <br />Mr. Compres was responsible for updating the structural design of a pump station to incorporate a <br />redesigned pump. The structural scope included revising the original drawings and calculations to <br />ensure compatibility with the new pump and compliance with current building codes. Deliverables <br />included coordinated structural drawings, supporting calculations, and documentation demonstrating <br />compliance with applicable codes and standards. <br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) Improvements to Pump Stations 301, 414, <br />415, 416, 417 & 449 (Miami-Dade County, FL) <br />Mr. Compres supervised the assessment and design upgrades for multiple pump stations following an <br />inspection of existing conditions in March 2015. His role involved analyzing SCADA data reviewing <br />hydraulic information provided by MDWASD and conducting on-site inspections. Through his analysis, <br />Mr. Compres identified issues such as undersized pumps, wet wells, discharge piping, and valve <br />vaults, which led to the development of comprehensive recommendations for system improvements. <br />Compartment ā€˜C’ Build Out G-508 Station, South Florida Water Management District (SFWM), <br />(Hendry County, FL) <br />Mr. Compres supervised the quantity take-off, pricing, bidding, and final submittal processes for the <br />Storm Water Treatment Area (STA) on Compartment C. He played a critical role in supporting the <br />improvement of existing STAs to enhance water quality before it entered the Everglades Protection <br />Area. This project was vital for the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) to meet <br />Everglades water quality standards and align with the long-term plan to ensure compliance with State <br />regulations for water discharges into the protected area. In addition to his supervisory duties, Mr. <br />Compres was responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and overseeing material testing to ensure the <br />project adhered to quality standards and compliance requirements.
