Frank Paruas PSM <br />New Terminal K, Topographic Survey, (X078A) - Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD), Miami International Airport (MIA), <br />Miami-Dade County, FL. Dates of Service: 2022-2025. Mr. Paruas, served as the Survey Project Manager for this significant project <br />with Miami International Airport. The project scope included a complete 3D Topographic Survey for the new Terminal K project at <br />Miami International Airport. The 3D Survey was completed using Terrestrial Mobile LiDAR combined with Traditional Survey methods. <br />The project limits include portions of NW 20th Street, Fuel Farm, Miami International Bus-stop areas, and MIA Terminal J Airside areas. <br />Mr. Paruas, lead the setting of primary control points, on NAD 83/2011, and NAVD88 Datum and prepared a complete 3D Survey with <br />elevations at 25 feet interval. Additionally, Mr. Paruas conducted a complete drainage investigation that included more than 50 <br />drainage both on airside and landside areas, that required in some of the cases to perform a heads-down static scanning to identify <br />the size and elevation of the hard-to-reach pipes. Miami International Airport (MIA), Miami-Dade County, FL. Dates of Service: 2022-2025. <br />Mr. Paruas served as Contract Manager from 2022 to 2025 for this multi-year, multi-task contract. In this role, he oversaw multiple <br />design-related projects across all five (5) Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) airports. The project scope included desig n <br />surveys for Terminal K; Scan-to-BIM services for all five levels of the Central Terminal and Terminal E; and design survey services for <br />the Terminal E–Terminal F Connector. Under this same contract, Mr. Paruas also managed aerial photogrammetric update services <br />for all five airports. These efforts included updating existing mapping files to reflect newly constructed facilities and inf rastructure, <br />as well as producing updated ortho-rectified aerial imagery. The project <br />scope included a complete 3D Topographic Survey for the design phase of the parking improvements. The 3D Survey was completed <br />using Terrestrial Mobile LiDAR for the public road areas, including NW 37th Ave, NW 21st Street and NW 25th Street, and combi ned <br />with traditional survey for the existing underdeveloped parking lot. The scope included establishing primary control on NAD 83/2011, <br />and NAVD88 Datum, drainage survey, underground utility investigation and (SUE) completed by others. The scope also included <br />performing a Boundary Survey of the MDAD owned parcel. Dates of Service: 2024-2025 <br />Mr. Paruas served as the Survey Project Manager for this Topographic Survey performed along the southern perimeter of Miami - <br />International Airport. The purpose of this project was surveying the existing conditions of the perimeter road. The Survey was <br />completed using Aerial LiDAR, combined with traditional Survey. This scope included field efforts both on landside and airsid e. The <br />scope included establishing primary control on NAD 83/2011, and NAVD88 Datum, drainage survey, underground utility investigation <br />(SUE) completed by others. The scope also included performing a Boundary Survey of the MDAD owned parcel. Control points were set and horizontal and vertical values were established by performing <br />static observations and closed level loops. The Horizontal values were established on North American Datum of 1983, adjustmen t <br />2011 (NAD83/11) and the elevations were established in Norh American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) Miami-Dade Aviation <br />Department (MDAD).
