His extensive <br />experience is marked by a dynamic blend of both field and office surveying, with a <br />specialized focus as a Project Surveyor for the past 28 years. Mr. Izquierdo’s expertise <br />spans a comprehensive range of surveying services, including boundary, topographic, <br />Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) survey services, route surveying, roadway <br />design surveys, and construction surveys. His profound understanding of the <br />multifaceted nature of surveying and mapping, coupled with his adept problem-solving <br />skills, renders him an invaluable asset to any project, epitomizing the role of an <br />exceptional Project Surveyor. <br />EXPERIENCE CITY OF MIAMI COMPREHENSIVE STORMWATER MASTER PLAN PROJECT SURVEYOR <br />09/2018 - 01/2020 <br />As the Project Surveyor for the City of Miami Comprehensive Stormwater Master Plan, Mr. Izquierdo established the main horizontal and vertical network within city limits, setting or recovering control monuments and documenting them in a Survey Control Map for the project's duration. He located 500 above-ground features using Survey GPS Equipment, averaging 10 locations per day, and conducted surveys of these features with the same efficiency. Additionally, he performed elevation shots to establish finished floor elevations for 500 buildings. Mr. Izquierdo also conducted additional surveys to determine seawall elevations in areas not covered by aerial surveys, which included aerial photogrammetry and fill-in surveys of 1,500 points using various methods. He placed aerial targets for photogrammetric surveys, averaging 5 targets per day for a total of 100 targets, and performed 150 canal cross sections, averaging 2 cross sections per day. <br />Miami-Dade County Contract E15-PWWM-07 Project 20170037 <br />Mr. Izquierdo led a topographic survey for Miami-Dade County from July 2019 to January 2020. His team established centerlines of roads using plats or property lines and identified right-of-way boundaries based on public records. They set a physical baseline and a benchmark using the NGVD 1929 elevation datum to ensure accuracy. Survey data was collected up to 50 feet beyond the curve points of intersecting streets and included detailed drainage structures, mast arms, and overhead wires. Cross-sections were taken every 25 feet, all data recorded in state plane coordinates and mapped over aerial photos. The origin of horizontal and vertical controls was clearly documented, and fieldwork copies were provided for transparency.
