<br />QA/QC Officer Project: Franjo Road from SW 184th Street to U.S. 1, Village of Palmetto Bay, FL Duration: May 2018 - April 2019 Performed QA/QC for the topographic survey, preparing a control sheet with five control points to be used for the project. Ensured elevation cross sections were taken at 50-foot intervals and measured the finish floor elevation of all houses along the corridor. Verified that the topographic survey extended 10 feet into private properties and located all visible above-ground utilities along the corridor. Oversaw the collection of invert information for all inlets. For SW 178 Street, SW 179 Street, and Park Drive, which are proposed roads, ensured the survey encompassed right of way to right of way as well as 25 feet beyond on each side. Supervised subsurface utility engineering, including subsurface utilities designation within the limits of the corridor, and performed 20 VVH soft digs. QA/QC Officer
<br />Project: Hollywood Gardens Sidewalk Improvement Project, FM# 434679.1 Location: Hollywood, FL Duration: July 2017 - December 2018 Performed QA/QC for the sidewalk improvement project covering approximately 7.71 miles. Established or recovered horizontal project control (HPC) for horizontal control on the Florida State Plane Coordinate System or datum, and vertical project control (VCP) for vertical control on datum. Computed the historic baseline of survey for the project. Placed, located, and maintained required aerial targets and photo identifiable points, including analysis and processing of all field collected data, existing maps, and reports. Located all above-ground features and improvements within the project limits to create a detailed topographic digital terrain model (DTM), including break lines, high and low points, with field edits and data processing. Designated approximately three utility lines running parallel to each side of the streets within the project limits, using standard designation equipment and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) to locate tonable and non-tonable utilities. Conducted a drainage survey, locating underground data (XYZ, pipe size, type, condition, and flow line) related to above-ground data, and located all drainage structures. Surveyed all existing recorded subdivision/condominium boundaries, tracts, units, phases, blocks, street right of way lines, and common areas, including analysis and processing of all field collected data and reports. The survey depicted the baseline, benchmarks, primary and secondary control points, and their reference points, including the type of material used for each point, their XYZ coordinates, scale factors, and convergence angles. QA/QC Officer Project: Relocation of Atlantic Boulevard at Higgs Beach, Key West, FL Duration: June 2020 - July 2020 Provided QA/QC for the detailed plan to deliver engineering and architectural services for the review of the Higgs Beach Master Plan and the development of detailed design plans for the relocation of Atlantic Boulevard at Higgs Beach in Key West, Florida. Performed horizontal project control (HPC) for Atlantic Boulevard, vertical project control (VPC), alignment and/or existing right of way (R/W) lines, reference points, topography, digital terrain model (DTM) (3D), and roadway cross sections/profiles.
