Where schedule allows, Kimley-Horn runs design development and permitting concurrently. <br />Survey, geotechnical investigation, and environmental studies are initiated early so that data is available when needed <br />for both design and permit applications, rather than becoming a bottleneck. <br />QC/QA AT EVERY PHASE. Kimley-Horn’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program applies structured quality <br />control reviews before each submittal milestone, including independent peer reviews by senior staff not directly involved <br />in production. This reduces rework, minimizes agency comments, and keeps the schedule on track. <br />RESPONSIVENESS. For urgent task orders, Kimley-Horn can compress the scoping and preliminary engineering <br />phases and mobilize within days of receiving a task order. Our South Florida team is locally based and available to <br />respond quickly to client needs. <br />Project list <br />Kimley-Horn has completed a wide range of relevant projects throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach <br />Counties, including standalone assignments as well as on-call/continuing services contracts and the individual task <br />work orders completed under those agreements.
