41IWFLFTLD016838.2026 <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(CCNA) RFQ # 26-07-01 <br />CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />41st Street Booster Rehabilitation Project, Miami Beach <br />Kimley-Horn is providing professional services associated with preparation of a <br />Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) for the rehabilitation of the City of Miami <br />Beach’s 41st Street Booster Pump Station. The City wants to replace existing <br />equipment and systems throughout the booster pump station. Additionally, the <br />City wishes to implement other improvements specifically related to hardening <br />and resiliency that will be funded via a $900,000 grant issued by the Florida <br />Department of Economic Development (DEO). The DEO grant was awarded under <br />the Critical Facility Hardening Program where eligible projects seek to harden <br />facilities serving a public safety purpose. This project will improve the resilience <br />of this facility by installing a new back-up power generator above the 500-year <br />floodplain elevation, providing improvements to the ventilation and AC systems, <br />site accessibility, and storm proofing with the replacement of windows and doors <br />with hurricane-proof selections. <br />NAVFAC Southeast, Design-Build for Building 284 Roof Repairs/Interior Repair, <br />Key West, FL <br />As part of the JBW Federal team, Kimley-Horn is providing civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical services for <br />Building 284 repairs at the Truman Annex in the Naval Air Station in Key West. Kimley-Horn will provide structural, <br />mechanical, and electrical design to provide HVAC to the existing controls/electrical building. Kimley-Horn also will <br />coordinate shop drawings with JBW Federal to support the development of the design. Structural services include a <br />structural analysis of the roof for anticipated loads. Mechanical services include HVAC load calculations for the office <br />spaces, design of three HVAC DX units, replacement of ductwork and air terminals, control sequence of operation for <br />HVAC equipment, and drawing package. The electrical services include LED lighting in coordination with ceiling <br />replacement, power distribution for HVAC equipment, and preparation of a drawing package.
