46IWFLFTLD016838.2026 <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(CCNA) RFQ # 26-07-01 <br />CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />City of Miami Transportation Support Services Contract – <br />Neighborhood Traffic Calming Studies, Miami, FL <br />As part of a Transportation Support Services contract, Kimley-Horn assisted the <br />City of Miami with the determination of appropriate traffic calming improvements <br />to enhance the quality of life for several neighborhoods City-wide. Kimley-Horn <br />has been the primary consultant in the development of traffic calming plans for <br />numerous City neighborhoods, assisting City staff in addressing traffic calming <br />requests, and maintaining an inventory of traffic calming requests, mapping traffic <br />calming request locations, conducting field investigations to determine appropriate <br />traffic calming measures and locations, coordinating with Miami-Dade County, <br />and preparing traffic calming analysis reports outlining the feasibility of installing <br />traffic calming devices. Kimley-Horn is assisting City staff in documenting and <br />addressing traffic concerns raised by constituents, which include safety, speeding, and cut-through traffic complaints, <br />by providing traffic volume and speed data along identified roadway segments.
