47IWFLFTLD016838.2026 <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES <br />(CCNA) RFQ # 26-07-01 <br />CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />Traffic Impact Studies Consultant Contract, Coral Gables, FL <br />Kimley-Horn is one of the selected traffic engineering firms in the City of Coral Gables to assess the traffic impacts of <br />new development within the City per a recently adopted ordinance in which traffic impact studies are conducted by the <br />City and funded by the applicant. Tasks included performing all facets of traffic impact analysis including methodology <br />development/coordination, data collection, existing conditions analysis, future traffic projection, background conditions <br />analysis, project trip generation/distribution/assignment, future traffic analysis, queuing analysis, entry gate analysis, and <br />valet operations analysis. Site plan reviews examine maneuverability, traffic circulation, and loading bay operations. <br />Kimley-Horn recently completed the first assignment using this approach to traffic impact review for the Ponce Tower <br />development project located on the southwest corner of Catalonia Avenue and Ponce de Leon Boulevard. <br />Miami-Dade County Traffic Engineering Services Contract – Intersection Improvement <br />Plans, Miami-Dade County, FL <br />Kimley-Horn was retained by Miami-Dade County DTPW to prepare intersection improvement plans at several <br />intersections in Miami-Dade County. The plans included roadway plans, signalization plans, and lighting plans. The <br />proposed improvements included new traffic signal infrastructure, curb ramps, and street lighting.
