At almost 10 miles, the Hallandale Beach Art Trail will be <br />the largest urban outdoor art gallery in the country. Featuring public art from a <br />variety of artists, Art Trail will connect neighborhoods of Hallandale Beach and <br />showcase this community as a city of the arts. The landscape architecture team <br />designed the route to connect parks and schools, created trailheads where <br />visitors will access the trail, developed custom banner poles for showcasing local <br />artists, and designed paving patterns for visitors to interact with the trail on the <br />ground plane. <br />NEW YOUTH CENTER, GREENACRES, FL*— Project Engineer. Jason <br />designed electrical engineering systems for lighting, power, and systems for a <br />new two-story public youth center serving the general community. He specified <br />an onsite standby generator for full-building backup during extended power <br />outages, designed exterior lighting for egress and security, and coordinated <br />access control and CCTV systems. This project reflects the scope’s requirements <br />for electrical design, technical specifications, construction documents, and city <br />facility electrical systems. <br />PUBLIC WORKS RENOVATION, TOWN OF PALM BEACH, FL* — Project <br />Engineer. Jason designed renovations at the public works building serving the <br />Town of Palm Beach. Work included modifying lighting and lighting control for <br />partitioned meeting spaces and supporting upgrades and additions for HVAC <br />systems, including new units, pumps, and controls for front- and back-of-house <br />areas. This project directly reflects the repair and replacement of electrical <br />systems in a municipal facility. <br />GENERATOR REPLACEMENT, CITY OF SUNRISE, FL* — Engineer-of- <br />Record. Specification, replacement, and upgrade of an existing generator <br />for a behavioral health facility in the City of Sunrise. The upgrade confirmed <br />compliance with city requirements for generator capacity, including air <br />conditioning backup runtime and fire marshal approval.
