69
ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES
(CCNA) RFQ # 26-07-01
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL
Current Workload
Kimley-Horn’s proposed team is immediately available to serve the City of Sunny Isles Beach and has the capacity,
resources, and management structure in place to support the City’s continuing professional engineering service needs.
Our multidisciplinary team includes professionals across the key service areas anticipated under this contract, including
civil engineering, environmental and coastal engineering, transportation and traffic engineering, landscape architecture,
and surveying and mapping.
Because continuing services contracts are task work order-driven, project needs and levels of effort can vary
significantly by assignment and discipline. Kimley-Horn actively manages staff availability across ongoing commitments
to confirm that the right resources are available when needed. Through regular staffing and production coordination, we
monitor current assignments, forecast future demands, and adjust resources to maintain the responsiveness expected
under an on-call contract.
This process is supported by Kimley-Horn’s firmwide staff resource management tool, Castaheads, which monitors and
forecasts staff loading on a weekly, monthly, and six-month basis. By identifying potential resource needs in advance,
we can plan proactively, balance workloads, and provide the City with consistent access to the appropriate technical
specialists and production support.
The key personnel identified in our organizational chart have been reserved to support this contract and are backed by
the extensive technical capabilities of Kimley-Horn’s South Florida and statewide offices. This approach allows our team
to respond to immediate assignments, support longer-term project needs, and adjust staffing as the City’s priorities,
schedules, and scopes of service evolve.
