<br />Districtwide Miscellaneous Location Survey Consultant (BDI), FM: 250686-3-32-02 / Contract No. CAE28, FDOT District
<br />6, Miami-Dade County, FL
<br />Longitude Surveyors served as the prime consultant on this contract with the Florida Department of Transportation
<br />(FDOT) District 6, providing comprehensive professional surveying, mapping, and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)
<br />services in support of a wide variety of transportation projects. Services included establishing project control networks,
<br />performing topographic, design-level, and specific purpose surveys, preparing right-of-way control survey maps,
<br />acquisition maps, and maintenance maps, as well as conducting retracements, boundary surveys, parcel sketches, legal
<br />descriptions, title analysis, and acquisition parcel stakeouts. Longitude also performed Quality Level B utility designation
<br />and Quality Level A utility verification, as required, in accordance with ASCE 38 standards to support roadway design,
<br />right-of-way, and construction activities while minimizing utility conflicts and improving project coordination.
<br />Highland Village Water Main Improvements, City of North Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, FL
<br />Longitude prepared a Topographic Survey, performing a right-of-way analysis, depicting lot lines from recorded plats,
<br />and establishing a graphical baseline. We collected above-ground features, captured elevations on a 25-foot grid to
<br />generate a DTM, set Temporary Benchmarks from certified benchmarks, documented drainage and sanitary structures,
<br />and performed utility locating and SUE designation using GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment within the project
<br />limits.
<br />San Marco Island Meter Relocation, City of Miami Beach, Miami Beach, FL
<br />Longitude Surveyors performed a boundary and right-of-way analysis using field evidence, plats, deeds, and other
<br />available records. We established horizontal and vertical control, located significant aboveground improvements,
<br />developed a Digital Terrain Model (DTM), and documented existing drainage and sanitary structures, including pipe and
<br />invert information. We also collected water meter dimensions and interior piping details and performed Quality Level
<br />“B” (QLB) Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) utility designation using electromagnetic locating equipment and Ground
<br />Penetrating Radar (GPR) in accordance with ASCE standards.
<br />Pump Station D2-A-2, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, Miami, FL
<br />Longitude Surveyors provided a boundary survey based on the coordinates shown on plans for the proposed pump
<br />station, including the setting of iron rods at the four corners. The estimate was based on the coordinates representing
<br />the pump station corners. Stoke grading contours were established for fill. Two (2) benchmarks were set near or at the
<br />site. Center staking was provided for one (1) sanitary manhole and one (1) 8-ft diameter concrete wet well with offsets.
<br />Staking included hub and tack at center with guard lath offset, with some staking marked with rim/top elevations. An as-
<br />built survey was also provided for the pump station.
<br />Improvements to Miami Shores Village Bayfront Park, Miami SHores Village, FL
<br />Longitude Surveyors provided comprehensive boundary, topographic, and bathymetric surveying services, including a
<br />title search, to support the design of seawall improvements and water access enhancements along North Bayshore Drive
<br />between NE 94th Street and approximately 175 feet north of NE 96th Street.
<br />Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main Upgrades City of Miami Beach, FL
<br />Longitude Surveyors performed a Boundary, Topographic, Tree, and Quality Level B (QLB) Subsurface Utility Engineering
<br />(SUE) Survey for North Venetian Way on San Marco Island in Miami Beach. We completed a boundary and right-of-way
<br />analysis, established horizontal and vertical control referenced to the Florida State Plane Coordinate System (NAD83/99)
<br />and NAVD88, located all significant aboveground features, surveyed drainage and utility infrastructure, collected tree
<br />inventory data, developed a Digital Terrain Model (DTM), and performed utility designation using electromagnetic
<br />locating equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) in accordance with ASCE standards.
