Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
Longitude maintains a comprehensive Quality
Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program to
ensure all surveying and mapping deliverables meet
the highest standards of accuracy, completeness,
and professional quality. Our QA/QC procedures are
integrated throughout each phase of a project to
identify and resolve issues early, minimize revisions,
and deliver reliable results to the City.
Key elements of our QA/QC program include:
1. Qualified Professional Oversight
All projects are managed and reviewed by licensed
Professional Surveyors and Mappers (PSMs), who
verify that survey procedures, calculations, mapping,
and final deliverables comply with applicable Florida
Statutes, professional standards, and the City of
Sunny Isles project requirements.
2. Field Verification
Quality begins in the field through daily verification
of survey observations, control data, measurements,
and field notes. Survey crews routinely review
collected data to identify discrepancies, verify
completeness, and resolve issues before leaving the
project site whenever possible.

3. CAD and Data Review
Following field data collection, our CAD technicians
and project staff perform detailed reviews of survey
data, mapping, GIS integration, utility information,
easement documentation, and project drafting to
ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
before final production.
4. Final Quality Review
Prior to delivery, each project undergoes a
comprehensive final QA review by the Project
Manager and licensed PSM to verify that all project
requirements have been satisfied, quality control
comments have been addressed, and the final
deliverables are complete, accurate, and ready for
submission.
Safety
Safety is integrated into every phase of our field
operations and is a fundamental component of
our project execution. Longitude is committed to
protecting our employees, City personnel, the public,
and utility infrastructure through comprehensive
safety planning and established field procedures.
