<br />City of Miami Museum Park Baywalk - Provided
<br />landscape architecture, civil engineering, lighting/electrical
<br />engineering, surveying, SUE, permitting and limited
<br />construction administration services for the public walking
<br />path along the Bayshore Bay shoreline. Permitting of the
<br />project improvements was provided through the City
<br />of Miami, Miami-Dade County and South Florida Water
<br />Management District. This project was performed under our
<br />Miscellaneous Landscape Architectural Services contract.
<br />Town of Bay Harbor Islands D/B 92nd Street Dog Park
<br />Extension - Renovation and expansion of an existing dog
<br />park by removing and building into a portion of the adjacent
<br />parking lot. Miller Legg provided landscape architecture,
<br />opinion of probable cost and construction administration
<br />services. The firm provided schematic designs and renderings
<br />for sidewalk connectivity, modification to existing exercise
<br />stations, dog park design for small and large dogs which
<br />included landscape improvements, tree additions, canopy
<br />shelters, water stations, pet waste stations, benches and
<br />asphalt walking paths.
<br />City of Miami Morningside Park Tennis Center - Under
<br />our Continuing Services Contract, prepared planning,
<br />design and construction documents for the replacement
<br />of the Biscayne Bay adjacent aged tennis center. The new
<br />center included reconstruction of all walkways between the
<br />courts, and an ADA-accessible route which were designed
<br />to consider sea level rise and King Tide influences. Services
<br />included civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting
<br />and limited construction administration.
<br />City of Miami Beach 19th Street Stormwater Pump
<br />Station & Botanical Gardens - Construction of this
<br />pump station was part of the overall plan for the Citywide
<br />stormwater improvement system to reduce flooding for
<br />residents of the Washington Avenue and Convention Center
<br />Drive neighborhood. Provided topographic surveying
<br />Professional Experience:
<br />Mr. Juncal is a Senior Landscape Architect and Certified
<br />Arborist focused on a variety of public and private landscape
<br />architecture projects including roadway landscaping and
<br />irrigation, active and passive park landscape design, higher
<br />educational facilities as well as residential and commercial
<br />projects. Certified Arborist services include: tree species
<br />identification and inventories, tree surveys and canopy
<br />mapping, destroyed/damaged tree assessments, tree value
<br />estimates, tree grading, tree species selection for planting,
<br />mangrove trimming oversight and tree permitting.
<br />Relevant Project Experience:
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Pelican Community Park - A
<br />three-acre active park site, for which Miller Legg managed
<br />landscape architecture, irrigation, engineering, surveying
<br />and architecture designs for a baseball field, recreation
<br />building, playground structure, gymnasium, and related site
<br />amenities within the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The City
<br />works jointly with Norman S. Edelcup/Sunny Isles Beach K-8
<br />School and offers a variety of seasonal programs for youth,
<br />in addition to athletics and camps at the Park. The project
<br />management team at Miller Legg received recognition from
<br />the City for their involvement in the design completion of
<br />the park. In addition, Miller Legg provided construction
<br />observation services. In addition, we also provided grant
<br />assistance to secure a Florida Recreational Development
<br />Assistant Program (FRDAP) grant for $200,000. FRDAP is a
<br />competitive grant program that provides financial assistance
<br />to local governments for development or acquisition of land
<br />for public outdoor recreational purposes. Award: Award

<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Gwen Margolis Park and
<br />Pelican Community Park Artificial Turf - The project
<br />consisted of the reconstruction of existing natural turf fields
<br />at Pelican Community Park and Senator Gwen Margolis Park
<br />in the City of Sunny Isles Beach with artificial turf. Miller
<br />Legg provided the preparation and permitting of drainage
<br />plans to collect under the new drain systems installed as
