<br />City of Fort Lauderdale Las Olas Streetscape Design
<br />- Designed each of the four districts to retain its individual
<br />identity, while simultaneously being part of a cohesive
<br />complete street design between Downtown Fort Lauderdale
<br />and The Beach. Responsible for planting design, placemaking
<br />and programming services, overhead shade structures,
<br />programming the pedestrian districts along the corridor
<br />which integrated hardscape design, seating design, and open
<br />space utilization, as well as multiple public outreach efforts
<br />including conceptual graphics and renderings to support
<br />meetings with homeowner association groups.
<br />City of Miami Beach Ballet and Workforce Housing -
<br />79,000 SF, 80-unit, 7-story building containing ballet student
<br />dorms with common areas and retail space, as approved by
<br />the Historic Preservation Board. Miller Legg was retained
<br />for surveying, site civil and utility infrastructure engineering,
<br />landscape architecture and irrigation, bidding assistance and
<br />construction observation services.
<br />City of Coral Gables Ponce de Leon Streetscape
<br />Improvements - Providing landscape architecture, irrigation
<br />design, permitting assistance and construction phase services
<br />for the streetscape improvements along Ponce de Leon in
<br />Coral Gables.
<br />City of South Miami Landscaping Master Plan Services
<br />- Providing a comprehensive Landscaping Master Plan.
<br />The plan will guide the City’s landscaping development,
<br />maintenance, and enhancements efforts, ensuring sustainable
<br />and aesthetically pleasing public spaces for all residents and
<br />visitors.
<br />City of Miami Beach 20 th Street & Sunset Drive Pocket
<br />Park - Under our Continuing Services Contract, provided
<br />survey, civil, geotechnical, electrical, structural, and landscape
<br />architecture services for a new ADA-accessible 0.33-acre
<br />pocket park. The project featured public input, incorporation
<br />of an arts theme, raised site elevation, hurricane-rated play
<br />equipment, and full design-to-construction support.
<br />Palm Beach County Housing Resource Center -
<br />Providing landscape planting and irrigation design, which
<br />includes a community garden area. The County developed
<br />a 4.5 acre second Housing Resource Center in Lake Worth
<br />to provide access to safe and descent housing as an effective
<br />emergency shelter. Miller Legg’s work effort spanned
<br />preliminary design through construction documents,
<br />bidding, and construction administration.

<br />Lift Station - Site engineering design and construction phase
<br />services for sewer assessment/planning and design of a new
<br />lift station as a result of the existing lift station deficiency in
<br />required pressure for current and future campus conditions.
<br />Design services were followed by construction observation
<br />of pump installation, underground piping and site civil
<br />improvements and closeout services. Landscape design was
<br />also provided to screen the pump station from the parking
<br />lot and surrounding view points.
<br />City of Miami E.G. Sewell Park - Under contract
<br />with the City for program development, pre-design,
<br />master planning design, public involvement workshops,
<br />construction documents and construction administration
<br />services for this 10.33 acre riverfront park. The scope of
<br />services includes landscape architecture, environmental,
<br />civil engineering, topographical surveying, SUE, arborist,
<br />structural engineering, electrical engineering, geotechnical
<br />engineering, archeological, permitting, bidding assistance and
<br />limited construction administration.
<br />Vizcaya Museum & Gardens Master Plan Refinement -
<br />Located on Biscayne Bay, Vizcaya is a 50-acre historical Villa
<br />and gardens of industrialist James Deering and is designated
<br />as a National Historic Landmark. Miller Legg was the
<br />landscape architect and traffic/transportation consultant for
<br />the plan which focused on the entire Vizcaya property.
<br />City of Coral Gables Roundabout Coral Way and
<br />Anderson Road - Provided tree disposition and mitigation,
<br />landscape design and irrigation design for this roundabout
<br />project at Coral Way and Anderson Road. In addition,
<br />opinion of probable costs and bidding assistance were
<br />provided. Specifications will be provided to be bid with the
<br />County’s improvement project as well.
<br />City of Miami Beach Chase Avenue and 34th Street
<br />Shared Path - Provided surveying, civil engineering and
<br />landscape architecture services related to the new 10-foot
<br />shared use path which supports the use of simultaneous
<br />pedestrian and bicycle activity. The scope of services
<br />included topographic surveying, tree inventory, disposition
<br />and permitting; irrigation, landscape, hardscape and
<br />amenities design, site civil design development, permitting
<br />coordination, bidding assistance/contract administration and
<br />construction phase tasks including construction observation.
