<br />City of Miami Gardens Performing Arts Center - Miller
<br />Legg is providing landscape architecture design services,
<br />surveying, civil engineering, traffic engineering services,
<br />permitting assistance and construction phase services for
<br />the new Miami Gardens Performing Arts Center. The
<br />Center will be built on 3.5 acres of land and will include
<br />a performing arts center, black box theater, youth center,
<br />culinary arts institute, STEM facility with classrooms with
<br />movable walls and an outdoor interactive playground to
<br />promote the development of youth through scientific and
<br />technological innovations.
<br />City of Coconut Creek Oak Trails Park Improvements
<br />- Providing landscape architecture, arboriculture, irrigation,
<br />civil engineering, permitting and surveying services for
<br />the expansion of the existing park to a passive park while
<br />renovating an existing 1,000 SF building for classroom
<br />and restroom facilities. The design shall provide LEED
<br />certification while adhering to a $2.5 million project budget,
<br />partially funded by The Florida Communities Trust (FCT)
<br />grant requirements. This project is being completed under
<br />the firm’s Continuing Services Contract.
<br />City of Oakland Park NE 13th Avenue Improvements
<br />- Under our Continuing Services Contract providing survey
<br />and civil engineering services for the proposed stormwater
<br />management and sidewalk improvements along the NE 13th
<br />Avenue 3-mile corridor which entails providing sidewalks,
<br />new driveway connections and stormwater system
<br />improvements to connect the various streets east and west
<br />of NE 13th Avenue to the existing 72-inch drainage pipeline
<br />in NE 13th Avenue.
<br />City of Cooper City Parks and Recreation Master
<br />Plan - Development of the City’s first Parks and Recreation
<br />Master Plan to address current and future needs for
<br />parks, recreation, and open spaces in the 8.34-square-mile
<br />community of 35,000 residents in western Broward County.
<br />The plan will evaluate all 21 parks, 3 sports complexes,
<br />facilities, and future expansion opportunities for the next
<br />10 years.
<br />Professional Experience:
<br />Ms. Friedlander is a Landscape Designer and LEED Green
<br />Associate supporting the firm’s projects including those in
<br />the public sector such as South Florida municipalities and
<br />FDOT. Her experience includes landscape design, park
<br />design, parks master planning and hardscape design.
<br />Relevant Project Experience:
<br />City of Coral Gables Roundabout Coral Way and
<br />Anderson Road - Provided tree disposition and mitigation,
<br />landscape design and irrigation design for this roundabout
<br />project at Coral Way and Anderson Road. In addition,
<br />opinion of probable costs and bidding assistance were
<br />provided. Specifications will be provided to be bid with the
<br />County’s improvement project as well.
<br />City of Coral Gables Cooper and Moore Parks - Providing
<br />landscape architecture and civil engineering services for
<br />improvements to the Parks. Scope includes schematic park
<br />design and tree assessment, landscape architecture design,
<br />irrigation design, site civil design and photometric lighting
<br />plan. Design improvements include lighting infrastructure
<br />for security and holiday lights, a new playground with play
<br />equipment for various ages, fitness equipment, and drinking
<br />fountains.
<br />City of Miami Beach Pump Stations NEPA - Performing
<br />HUD Environmental Review activity for eight sewer pump
<br />and booster stations. The sewer pump and booster station
<br />study is required by the Florida Department of Economic
<br />Opportunity.
<br />Village of Islamorada Founder’s Park Master Plan -
<br />Miller Legg was selected to prepare a Master Plan for the 42-
<br />acre waterfront Founder’s Park. Services includes evaluation
<br />of current conditions of the facilities and elements within
<br />the Park, and implementation of a public engagement plan
<br />that will capture resident’s needs, desires and concerns. The
<br />final plan will reflect the desired vision of the citizens, Village
<br />officials and other stakeholders. The Park facilities include an
<br />aquatic center, tennis complex, pickleball facility, dog park,
<br />basketball court, golf driving cage, fitness trails, great lawn
<br />and amphitheater, and the beach complete with tiki huts,
