Services includes evaluation <br />of current conditions of the facilities and elements within <br />the Park, and implementation of a public engagement plan <br />that will capture resident’s needs, desires and concerns. The <br />final plan will reflect the desired vision of the citizens, Village <br />officials and other stakeholders. The Park facilities include an <br />aquatic center, tennis complex, pickleball facility, dog park, <br />basketball court, golf driving cage, fitness trails, great lawn <br />and amphitheater, and the beach complete with tiki huts, <br />picnic tables, cooking grills, pavilion, sand volleyball court, <br />shade trees, playgrounds, outdoor showers and restroom <br />facilities. <br />City of Opa-Locka Parks and Recreation Master Plan <br />- Project consists of a 10-year comprehensive recreation <br />plan based upon research of existing facilities and programs, <br />recreation opportunities and needs analyses. <br />Greater Boca Raton Beach and Parks District North <br />Park Master Plan - Prepared a Master Plan for North Park. <br />The Master Plan reflected the District’s desire to provide <br />a diverse recreational amenity for City residents while <br />considering the specific desires and concerns of the adjacent <br />residential communities. The Plan addressed North Park <br />future facilities and uses and recommended improvements, <br />enhancements and additional uses. <br />City of Weston Community Center - Miller Legg provided <br />survey, SUE, civil engineering, landscape architecture <br />and irrigation design, bidding assistance and construction <br />administration services for the new City of Weston <br />Community Center at Weston Regional Park as part of the <br />Cartaya Architects team. Permitting was coordinated with <br />the Cities of Weston and Sunrise, FDEP and SFWMD. The <br />12.5-acre parcel was redeveloped from land used for sports <br />activities and passive green space. It comprises an indoor <br />facility of approx. 25,000 SF to accommodate office space <br />and multi-purpose rooms. The outdoor facilities will total <br />6,400 SF, while site work beyond the building includes lawn <br />seating, a 7,500 SF playground, parking and landscaping. <br />Professional Experience: <br />Ms. Fuentes is a Landscape Designer and Recreation <br />Planner supporting the firm’s projects including those in the <br />public sector such as Florida municipalities and the Florida <br />Department of Transportation. Her experience includes <br />landscape design, parks master planning and hardscape <br />design with vast experience in the planning, public outreach, <br />County and municipal collaboration, and specialized <br />subconsultants’ coordination required for the success of <br />Parks and Recreation Master Plans, including assistance in <br />CAPRA re-accreditation. <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br />City of Miami E.G. Sewell Park - Under contract with <br />the City for program development, pre-design, master <br />planning design, public involvement workshops, construction <br />documents and construction administration services. <br />The scope of services includes landscape architecture, <br />environmental, civil engineering, topographical surveying, <br />SUE, arborist, structural engineering, electrical engineering, <br />geotechnical engineering, archeological, permitting, bidding <br />assistance and limited construction administration. <br />City of Miami Beach Chase Avenue and 34th Street <br />Shared Path - Provided surveying, civil engineering and <br />landscape architecture services related to the new 10-foot <br />shared use path which supports the use of simultaneous <br />pedestrian and bicycle activity. The scope of services <br />included topographic surveying, tree inventory, disposition <br />and permitting; irrigation, landscape, hardscape and <br />amenities design, site civil design development, permitting <br />coordination, bidding assistance/contract administration and <br />construction phase tasks including construction observation. <br />City of South Miami Landscaping Master Plan Services <br />- Miller Legg is developing a comprehensive Landscaping <br />Master Plan to guide the City’s landscaping development, <br />maintenance, and enhancement efforts. This plan will ensure <br />sustainable and visually appealing public spaces for residents <br />and visitors. As part of the project, the firm will study major <br />roadway landscapes across designated zones, creating a <br />forward-looking Master Plan for key corridors.
