An arborist assessment <br />of existing trees and palms was carried out as part of the <br />landscape architecture services. <br />City of Miami Gardens Performing Arts Center - Miller <br />Legg is providing civil engineering, surveying, landscape <br />architecture design services, traffic engineering services, <br />permitting assistance and construction phase services for the <br />new Miami Gardens Performing Arts Center. The Center will <br />be built on 3.5 acres of land and will include a performing arts <br />center, black box theater, youth center, culinary arts institute, <br />STEM facility with classrooms with movable walls and an <br />outdoor interactive playground to promote the development <br />of youth through scientific and technological innovations. The <br />center will be built through construction management at risk <br />delivery method. Specific surveying services include boundary, <br />topographic, SUE as well as sketch and descriptions. Miller <br />Legg is a subconsultant to Stratus. <br />City of Hollywood Sunset Park Master Plan <br />Implementation - Miller Legg is providing multidisciplinary <br />architectural and engineering services for the implementation <br />of the City of Hollywood’s Sunset Park Master Plan, <br />transforming the former 40-acre Sunset Golf Course into the <br />City’s largest passive public park. Services include surveying, <br />subsurface utility engineering (SUE), environmental consulting, <br />geotechnical engineering, architecture, MEP engineering, civil <br />engineering, landscape architecture, lighting design, permitting <br />assistance and preparation of site plans and construction <br />documents. The project supports the City’s vision of creating <br />a signature community park that enhances recreational <br />opportunities, preserves natural resources and provides open <br />space for generations to come. <br />Broward County Parks and Recreation West Lake <br />Park II - Environmental Services - Permitting and design <br />of enhancements for the second phase of this 1,500-acre <br />estuarine wetland. The firm provided both environmental <br />and engineering services for necessary mitigation for the <br />Port Everglades and Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International <br />Airport expansion projects. Services provided included: <br />paving and drainage improvements for the nature center <br />Professional Experience: <br />Mr. Haynes is a SUE Coordinator / Survey QC bringing 14 <br />years of expertise in surveying, mapping and subsurface utility <br />engineering (SUE) services. His background spans a broad <br />range of survey disciplines, including boundary, topographic, <br />ALTA/ACSM land title, quantity, environmental and wetland, <br />as-built, right-of-way, specific purpose, and subdivision and <br />platting surveys, complemented by extensive subsurface <br />utility engineering (SUE) experience. <br />Relevant Project Experience: <br />City of Miami Armbrister Park Community Center - <br />Esther Mae Armbrister Park is a 4.4-acre City of Miami Park <br />with amenities that included an existing community center, <br />baseball and football fields, tennis and basketball courts, <br />playground and exercise equipment. The project involved <br />replacement of the existing community center building with <br />a new 10,000 SF 2-story facility and outdoor pavilion. Miller <br />Legg was responsible for civil, landscape architecture and SUE <br />services along with boundary, topographic and tree surveying. <br />The firm provided site civil and utility infrastructure research <br />of utility maps, as-builts and existing site conditions followed <br />by preparation of civil, landscape architecture and irrigation <br />construction documents, government agency permitting <br />coordination, bidding assistance, contract administration and <br />construction administration. Tree inventory, disposition plans <br />and permitting are part of the scope provided by the firm’s <br />certified arborists. <br />City of Miami Gardens Rolling Oaks Regional Park <br />- Renovations of the Rolling Oaks Regional Park included <br />construction of a new one-story 4,000 SF recreation building, <br />renovated restroom facilities, expansion of walking trail with <br />lighting, distance marker, and exercise stations, new pavilions, <br />new parking lot, refurbished basketball and tennis courts, <br />new fencing, new shaded playgrounds, new landscaping and <br />irrigation, addition of horseshoe pits, sand volleyball, mini <br />golf, and video system and WIFI. Miller Legg provided civil <br />engineering, landscape architecture, surveying and SUE <br />services for this 40-acre park as a subconsultant to Synalovski, <br />Romanik and Saye Architects.
