<br />Contract, Miller Legg is providing engineering design, surveying
<br />and landscape architecture services for the relocation,
<br />rehabilitation and upgrade of wastewater pump station 0831
<br />to provide better access to the station.
<br />Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) ERMD Water Quality
<br />Data QA/QC & WQX Data Uploading - Miller Legg
<br />provided water quality data management and uploading
<br />support to the Seminole Tribe specifically, review and
<br />recommendation of data management options, ongoing
<br />orientation training and coordination with Tribe ERMD staff,
<br />and QA/QC of incoming datasets and upload of the data. This
<br />water quality data is required for compliance with the EPA
<br />Clean Water Act and grant requirements.
<br />City of Hollywood Sunset Park Master Plan
<br />Implementation - Miller Legg is providing multidisciplinary
<br />architectural and engineering services for the implementation
<br />of the City of Hollywood’s Sunset Park Master Plan,
<br />transforming the former 40-acre Sunset Golf Course into the
<br />City’s largest passive public park. Services include surveying,
<br />subsurface utility engineering (SUE), environmental consulting,
<br />geotechnical engineering, architecture, MEP engineering, civil
<br />engineering, landscape architecture, lighting design, permitting
<br />assistance and preparation of site plans and construction
<br />documents. The project supports the City’s vision of creating
<br />a signature community park that enhances recreational
<br />opportunities, preserves natural resources and provides open
<br />space for generations to come.
<br />Upland Park Mixed-Use Development Phase 1 - Miller
<br />Legg is providing environmental and landscape architecture
<br />services for the development of a proposed Miami-Dade
<br />County 44-acre mixed-use development containing 30
<br />acres of undeveloped upland with some dispersed wetlands.
<br />The scope of services comprises jurisdictional wetland
<br />documentation and habitat evaluation for presence of Federal
<br />and State listed species for permitting purposes. Miller Legg
<br />is responsible for Preliminary Natural Resource Permitting
<br />investigations, a Wetland Jurisdictional Determination, a
<br />Natural Resources Evaluation Report covering threatened
<br />and endangered species, Environmental Resource Permitting
<br />Professional Experience:
<br />Mr. Chaskalson is a Drone Pilot and Environmental Technician
<br />providing field reviews, wetland delineations, permitting, field
<br />work, surveying, scanning, and agency coordination for our
<br />clients. Kevin is proficient in ArcGIS and GPS, environmental
<br />sampling techniques, scientific monitoring and data methods,
<br />and hazardous materials and environmental air quality.
<br />Relevant Project Experience:

<br />City of Homestead Biscayne-Everglades Greenway Trail
<br />- Among the services Miller Legg provided for this 3.2 mile,
<br />12-foot-wide Biscayne Everglades Greenway shared-use trail
<br />project are landscape architectural, engineering, surveying
<br />and environmental services including preparation of FDOT-
<br />approved construction documents, design of regulatory and
<br />wayfinding signs, pavement markings, safe pedestrian push
<br />button crossing and necessary drainage within the C-103
<br />Canal right-of-way from East Mowry Drive to SW 137th
<br />Avenue in Homestead. The scope of services was based upon
<br />a 2017 Florida Shared-use Non-Motorized Trail Agreement
<br />between the City of Homestead and FDOT. Topographic
<br />and SUE services were delivered. The scope included
<br />engineering design and permitting services for the shared-use
<br />trail, associated drainage and roadway pedestrian crossings.
<br />The firm also carried out Preliminary Natural Resource and
<br />Protected Species Investigations and documents related
<br />to designation of the Project by FDOT as a Documented
<br />Categorical Exclusion. The project was funded by a SUN Trail
<br />Grant through FDOT.

<br />(WASD) E15-WASD-02 Pump Station 0812 Relocation
<br />and Upgrade - Under the firm’s WASD Continuing Services
<br />Contract, Miller Legg is providing engineering design, surveying
<br />and landscape architecture services for the relocation,
<br />rehabilitation and upgrade of wastewater pump station
<br />0812 to provide better access to the station. Miller Legg is
<br />currently preparing the finalized bid package for construction
<br />advertisement.
